Wish I didn’t even give a 1 on service! Ordered a #20 Which includes gravy, and at the window asked for Honey mustard and manager runs up and demanded that we pay for it….. in which we did, then the guy shut the cash drawer when we were owed change back, but just said, oops I’m sorry. Then get all the way home and no gravy, when it’s included in the almost $50 meal!!! When I call to let them know, all he said was to save the receipt and get it later!!! NORMAL places actually will reimburse you anyways!!! Ridiculous!!!!! Never will I go back!!!!

Asked for chicken tenders meal but got chicken on a bone meal instead. And they shorted me 1 piece of chicken of that, plus getting mostly wings and legs. Of 6 rolls, 3 look like someone sat a heavy box and flattened 3 of them and were trash at best. Asked for large fried okra and didn’t get any. One mashed potato looked like it had a thumb indentation in it.

This is the absolute best Chicken Express I’ve ever been to. Great food and the BEST service. The manager and employees working while we visited were top notch in every way. They deserve a huge raise for how they are representing their company. I have never seen such amazing hospitality in a restaurant.

My experience was excellent. I was traveling from Houston to College Station with my dogs for vet care. We utilized the drive through 30 min to close. My fried fish was cooked to order and piping hot. The friendly woman working the drive through informed me the fish can take up to 15 min to cook and asked if that was acceptable. I was fine to wait and excited to try out the sides, mac and cheese, mashed potatoes, biscuits and dinner rolls. My food was brought to my car between 10-15 min after I ordered it. It was piping hot and delicious. I really liked the breading and crispness of the fish. It wasn’t greasy. Biscuits were buttery, soft and warm. I watched the employees clean while sitting in the car eating, since my dogs were with me. I thought the restaurant looked clean through the glass doors and windows. They were definitely serious about moping the floor. I have no complaints. I’m surprised there were so many negative reviews. This was my first time visiting a Chicken Express. I’d never heard of it until I was driving past it. I very rarely eat fast food and this was more on par with causal dining food than fast food.

I requested my livers crispy & gizzards. When we got our order, there were no gizzards, only livers & she had squeezed those, our fries, 2 rolls & gravy in the box. Everything was crammed in there. When I called attention to the fact there were no gizzards, there was no apology, just an excuse for why they were not in there. I feel they need to work on their customer service skills. Meeting my questions & other customers questions aggressively is not good CS. My livers were not cooked crispy & I had to throw away 3 of them because they were not cooked thoroughly. Needless to say I was a little disappointed today. One customer’s order was incomplete & another customer ordered a single jalapeno. The employee who the customer talked to yelled both times from the dining room to a girl in the back to get them.

Warning! Everyone, check your food and make sure you have everything because if they forget part of your order when you go through drive thru, the workers blame you/the customer for not getting all your food! I was on my 7th hr of a 9hr drive and had to turnaround a mile down the road. Their attitude when I turned back to get the missing item was baffling rude. Don’t come here if you want good customer service because the vibe is definitely contrary to that.

I just want to share my experience with Manger here. A guy came in complaining about how long it took him to get his food. The manager didn’t care !! Well, I said I’ve been waiting for my food for over 20 minutes. I ask for a refund. I’m tired of waiting . She said it takes 8 minutes to get the fish ready. Well, it’s been over 20 minutes. Well she gave me my money back as the cashier said it’s been ready!! She said throw it away and told me to not to come back. Well I hope she gets fired for her Attitude. This is the worst place I’ve ever been treated. Oh ya she said we tell you when you order it’s an 8 minute wait. No one said a thing!! Well she said it says it on the receipt Well it took Well over 20 minutes. Chicken Express this location needs new Mangers or close this store.

Never been to this brand restaurant before…was vet surprised!!! Sign days yet the catfish, got three filets and could barely finish, corn and jalapeno poppers were good. Chicken was fresh and hot. Enjoyed it, The manager was running a tight ship in there!
