Really not a fan of the chicken here and though there is a lot of sauce options I didn’t really enjoy any of the 4 I had. The fries are pretty good though, maybe a tad overseasoned. The best part about this place is that it has a cool atmosphere (and good shakes) and it’s in the heart of downtown in PPG place with a nice seating area. It’s also pretty affordable, not cheap but not ridiculous, so overall meh food but the atmosphere and service are phenomenal.

The food is good, not amazing. I agree with many other reviews about it being frozen chicken. The fried pickles were good, but some a bit mushy. The service was GREAT though! No issues there, plus our food came out quickly.

We as a family watch Guy Fieri all the time and get huge inspiration from his shows for cooking. We made sure this was a definite spot to stop while we were here from NY for lunch and it DID NOT disappoint. This was hands down the BEST fast food/chicken sandwhich we have ever had. Could 100% use moreeeeee sauce on the burger, but it’s in a good location with paid parking right across the street. It’s a clean and friendly atmosphere. The food is what we’re raving about and it’s worth it especially if you’re a Guy fan.

We stopped in for lunch and enjoyed our experience. The food was hot and nicely seasoned. The Huckleberry shake was delicious. Quick service with personable staff. Very neat concept, will definitely be back.

I had high expectations and was thoroughly disappointed. The service was completely fine and my food was done fast, but that is about the only positive thing I can say about this place. First off, the menu is incredibly hard to read and understand due to how much small text is seemingly everywhere. On to what I got, the food LOOKED great but the taste left much to be desired. The seasoning on the fries was amazing but the fries themselves were overcooked. Another reviewer described them as some being like rocks and others being chewy like gum which I can agree with. The sandwich was okay at best, but the chicken was disappointingly dry. Not only that, but the drink I got (fanta orange) had very little flavor which I know is not normal. For the price I paid (a little over $15), it wasn’t worth it. Go to CHiKN in oakland instead.

This was my 1st time eating at Chicken Guy! PPG Place. My mother, nephew, and I came here for dinner. The food that we got was delicious. The chicken combo that I ate was excellent. I got 5 pieces of chicken tenders, french fries, and a drink. I’ll definitely come here again to eat.

Staff incredibly rude, apparently they just close whenever they feel like it. I apparently was lucky to get my order in at 8:40 and the lady was sure to tell me they’re closing, then proceeded to tell some people “this is our last order” at 8:52 while I was still waiting for food meanwhile other cleaning staff were turning people out. On a very busy day with hundreds of people on the ice and this the ONLY place with hot drinks and ice rink open til 10. Supposedly because they ran out of chicken. But took my order and others after. The “Chicken guy” apparently doesn’t know what he’s doing or how to tell staff to be nice. They also want to tell you which way to line up when you’re one of three people in line because a lady at the door is turning people away. Like it matters. Really poor operation. There’s really NOTHING special about the food either. Over breaded and you can barely taste the chicken. Two stars only because the food edible and the hot coco was hot. And the young latino kitchen guy that brings the food out was super sweet. The rest of the staff needs to take lessons. I left listening to two of the women complaining they shouldn’t have to clean, they should bring in more people for that. Sad no one can find good help. Maybe pay better? PPG Place needs a better vendor.

The restaurant was clean and the staff was friendly. The menu was clear and easy to understand, but the most important thing was missing. The quality of the chicken and flavor was low similar to Tyson breaded strips there was nothing that separates this from every other low quality chicken joint.I would have thought they would have used real chicken breast meat, for what it cost I expected allot better.

I absolutely love this place. Each time I come in, the food is fresh, hot and tastes amazing. I love all of the sauces and how different each one tastes. Being a Guy Fieri Restaurant, I had high hopes and was not disappointed.
