A friend recommended we visit the original Chicken Joe’s and I wasn’t disappointed. We went during a crowded time, but the service was quick and efficient, they make sure to keep the line moving. I got the godfather and didn’t regret it. The chicken is sooo good. I recommend adding cheese and chilli to your order!

There is no place like Chicken Joe’s. The ultimate breakfast spot for locals. If you’re passing through town make sure to stop in to get a feel of the Cos Cob spirit. PLUS they have a great selection of Italian deli meats. So they will make you anything you want. Try the College Wrap first if you can’t decide or a classic BEC.

It’s my favorite little deli of all time. I grew up with the place and after 20 some years the place remains the same as always, simple good food made with love and care. And in a world dominated by quick apps it’s nice to have a joint that’s rooted in old school values. I implore you to try the chicken, it’s great!!!! Always a great place to pick up the classic chicken Joe nuggets, cones etc! The newly renovated cos cob location looks great. A real exercise in space efficiency …. somehow they even fit a bathroom in that place for customers!
