Couldn’t say whether the fried chicken or greens were better because both were so good. There was a nice little bit of spice in the greens and gravy, although nothing to be scared of if you’re sensitive to heat. I hope I get to come back and try more of the menu next time I’m in Spokane. Super friendly and fast service on my visit. Comfortable booths and fun decor. Roll of paper towels on every table, which you’ll need if you order chicken like I did.

The staff was friendly. The cashier explained to me the menu and recommended the best sides for my orden. The food was served quickly and was delicious, but my only concern was that the trash can should be closed.

I could tell you how great the food is here but I’ll start with the people. They are one of the last African-American owned businesses in Spokane and they know what they’re doing! The folks who run the restaurant were nice enough to put in an extra rib and they have some of the best chicken this side of Texas. When the staff eat and love the food at the restaurant, you know it must be great! The menu is so rich and full of variations. Highly recommend asking the staff their not so secret custom side they made that’s not on the menu, you’ll thank me later! When I went there, they were nice enough to help another customer out with their dead cellphone and offered them water multiple times to make sure they were good and not worried (it was 100 degrees outside). I also tried the brisket sandwich, they have some great smoked meat, if you like spicy, get the pulled pork!! Go check out Chicken N More with AJ & Logan at the front lines, some real great customer service and even better cooks!! AJ’s grandfather started this wonderful restaurant and has since expanded his ventures, be sure to ask what else they have in store 🙂

Can’t wait to come back. Fantastic service and delicious fried chicken! The atmosphere reflects the hole the wall vibe of casual fast dining, but the service exceeded those of much more expensive options. The staff were friendly, helpful and gracious. We loved hearing their story. Highly recommend!

Best buttermilk fried chicken in the Spokane area by far!!! Been going here for 15 years and no other fried chicken can compare. All competitors can not match their tasty fried chicken, homemade BBQ sauce, garlic sauce, and plethora of delicious sides!

We came in on a Tuesday afternoon with a party of 6 (4 adults, 2 kids under 8) and really enjoyed our time! The atmosphere is quiet and warm and the walls are covered in license plate from around the country and old pictures. You order at the counter and everyone working there is happy to answer questions or recommend something delicious. The food was perfect. The kids scarfed down the hotdogs, and the rest of us got pulled pork, fried chicken and ribs with a variety oh sides. The sauce is a vinegar base and perfectly tangy. Absolutely a must try if you’re downtown in Spokane.
