The best onion rings ever! They were massive and tasty! We also each had the chicken snack with one piece of fried chicken (we had a breast), one side (we had mashed potatoes and gravy ), and a biscuit. This was way more than enough food for the two of us! It was all very good! Service was also great. We will definitely be back!

The other reviews talking about good service aren’t true if you’re an outsider. I’m sitting in here with a group of friends, and I had to get our waitresses attention to remind her she had forgotten one of our drinks. It’s best to be a local to eat here, because if you’re not, you won’t be treated as warmly. I did enjoy my chicken fried steak. That was the only positive thing that came out of this experience. Don’t come here unless you have over an hour to kill. Also don’t come in hungry, because it took us around 45 minutes to get our food.

The food is EXCELLENT!! This is the place for good ole home cookin!! I had the chicken tenders (huge) with mashed potatoes and gravy, green beans, and Texas toast. My lunch companion had the hamburger steak with brown gravy, mashed potatoes, macaroni & cheese, and a dinner roll. Both were wonderful! The atmosphere is that of an old time cafe, and everyone was very friendly. They are open Monday-Saturday from 6am until 2pm. It’s worth a special trip to Marietta…Try it!!

I ate there on halloween and my and my wife both got sick just hours after eating there. I got the chicken fried steak and I could hardly eat it. I took half of it home and gave it to my dog who turned her nose up to it. The service was shotty at best. After ordering we decided we wanted to try some fried pickles and I tried flagging down our waitress for approximately 10 minutes. The whole time she was sitting in a booth across the room texting on her phone. This place is trash and I would strongly advise not to eat there. EVER.
