Went to have a late lunch at the Sunset BLVD location. I didn’t have my card on me at the time and only had $100 bill / cash to pay for our food. The cashier indicated they didn’t accept bills larger than $20. Last I checked, a $100 bill was still a form of legal tender in the United States. And at 4pm in the afternoon, I’m sure there was plenty of change in the drawer after nearly a full day of sales.

Food was excellent as always. We arrived at 7:15 pm they dont close until 8. It was obvious the worker was irritated we were dining in. She started to vacuum while we were eating before 8. It was hard to enjoy dinner while she was cleaning all around us. It is fine to clean and get ready for closing when you don’t have customers, but when you have customers wait until closing.

Food is good. If you order ahead and plan on picking up your food you are wasting your time. 4 weekends within a 2 month period I have ordered ahead. All 4 times the excuses were the following: our computers are down and we cannot remake your order (understandable, it happens), someone picked up the order already, someone picked up your order (again), and our computer did not pick up your online order we will have to make it now.

Apart from having to leave my man card in the car before entering, this place is great! Clean restaurant, friendly employees. The turkey club on toasted wheat was perfect. My wife enjoys their Fancy Nancy chicken salad, broccoli salad, and grape salad. The sweet tea and the free cookie were both delicious. You won’t be disappointed.

Good food, we are never coming back to the Lexington location. Order total $54.00 wouldn’t accept cash. Told us to go next door to get a 50 dollar bill changed at another restaurant. Sorry policy, manager never came to explain or correct. Order was over 50, but won’t accept a 50. Went to the harbison location yesterday had no issue paying with a 50 dollar bill. Our boss buys our lunch everyday, so we will have to find a better place. A counterfeit detector or even a counterfeit bill marker is very cheap, this place should invest in one.

I was purchasing $60 worth of Togo food. Attempted to pay for my order with two $50 bills. She said she couldn’t take them. I offered to spend the full $100 if it was a change issue. They wouldn’t take the bills AT ALL. It’s 2023… with the rising costs of everything, fifty dollars is nothing(as shown by my total). I drove from over an hour away just to get food from here for my father. I have contacted corporate, but felt potential customers should be warned.

Never ordering from here again. Did anyone else know that when you order from here through Chicken Salad Chick app and DoorDash app that the doordash drivers are the ones handling and filling your drinks? NOT THE STAFF, WHO ARE REQUIRED TO WASH THEIR HANDS! NO…3RD party delivery drivers are handling your cups and are responsible for filling, adding ice, putting lids on your drinks. Contactless delivery means absolutely nothing if 3rd parties are handling your food and drink and no one tells you. Found out the hard way today when my drinks were wrong item and sizes and had to call the store to be told it was the doordash driver’s fault because they are the ones filling my drinks. Doordash drivers are doing the job of Chicken Salad Chick staff but Chicken Salad Chick charges over $7+ for delivery fee through their app for doordash drivers to 3rd party for them and the Doordash app.
