I was at Lee Branch, Doug Baker Blvd, off Hwy 280, south of Birmingham. The young man at the counter was polite & helpful. I had the full salad w/a scoop of Cranberry Kelli, a favorite. I also took home that & Classic Carol. Love these chicken salads, sugar iced cooky and more! Try it, you’ll like!

What a joy this place is! Food is absolutely delicious, I love the Fancy Nancy with a side of potato soup or grape salad. The vibe is very cheerful and upbeat and the cookies are a wonderful sweet treat at the end of the meal. Will continue to come back.

Tonight was my second night and time ordering from here. My first time was great. However, tonight not as I was looking forward to. I came in to pick up my call in order before closing and there was a young woman helping another customer and once she was done she glanced at me standing in front of counter and turned away and then she began to eat. After, she walked off to where I couldn’t see her and got on her phone. You would have thought I was literally invisible. So I sat down and Thankfully another employee walked out of the kitchen and assisted me and I mentioned it to her and she said “Oh it’s ok, she’s new”. Like huh? I definitely understand being new, but I’m so confused on what that have to do with having common courtesy. Customer service comes with the job. The least she could have done was acknowledge me and go get help if she didn’t want to help, but to just act as if I’m not standing right there is wild.

Everytime I walk into this restaurant I’m ignored. Last night the employees were too busy arguing with themselves or talking on the phone to acknowledge customers. This has happened twice now. Save yourself the hassle and buy some chicken salad at Publix, it’s cheaper and the staff is friendly.
