The sign reads “Hand Breaded Chicken”, its a lie. As of 2023 they only serve the same previous frozen chicken strips you can find anywhere in the park. Just skip this place, its a joke and a complete rip off. “Nashville” hot chicken is just a strip with a bunch of Hot sauce squirted at it, not exactly the nice flavor you’d expect from Nashville Chicken. Also their fries will be under-cooked, but Valleyfair seems unable to cook their fries at any of their locations.

I got the overpriced chicken strip basket. I was unpleasantly surprised to see 1 thin over breaded chicken strip and about 2 or 3 small chunks of breading under a pile of uncooked fries.

This is not an over exaggeration: Literally the worst chicken strips and fries I have ever had. My 3 friends that ate with me agree. Low quality meat with bland ‘breading.’ Fries are soggy and bland. DO NOT waste your money here… and I used a free meal ticket on this place.

For fair food, it’s passable. It’s nothing special, but better than many other places at VF. Large seating areas on both sides of where you order. Both areas are covered, and offer a respite from the sun/rain. Note the kids chicken strip meal provides the best value. You get one fewer chicken strip, but about the same number of fries and a free drink, for $4h bucks less than the normal strip basket.

Very disappointed it is closed this 2022 season, this place is home to the best chicken tenders in the state! Coaster’s chicken tenders come no where close to those of Chicken Shack and the drinks never come colder. Will not be back until they make the decision to re-open the Chicken Shack!!!

This was the most disappointing food I think I’ve ever eaten. Literally had no flavor, no spice at ALL. I wish I would’ve know that the chicken sandwich I paid $13 for would just be two over cooked chicken tenders on a bun with lettuce. The bun wasn’t good either and the whole sandwich fell apart while eating it. Unless you wanna buy an extremely overpriced chicken tender sandwich that tastes like dust and makes your stomach feel like a rock, I’d pass.
