I have loved the Chicken Shack fried cod fish for many years/decades. I only eat fried food as an occasional treat. The picture is what I received on my last visit. Is this a joke? Did they buy fish sticks from a grocery store? They were also dry. Thanks CS, I will never crave your food again.

This location was HORRIBLE!!! We just left there today (21 August 2023) around 1:30pm WITH NO FOOD! We ordered our food and there was just chaos from the beginning. The staff were arguing, the person on the shift the night before hadn’t cut the potatoes so the ran out until more could be cut, and after waiting on food for a long time we were told that they had NO PLASTICWARE. How do you eat with no utensils? We got a refund and left. Didn’t even get to taste the food here. There were other annoyed customers there too.

Rude staff who should have closed if they could not handle orders. They claimed the internet was down and so the order was placed in person. 40 minutes later still no chicken and the staff had nerve to be rude to customers? I left! I wouldn’t go here even if free chicken was offered!

Chicken Shack has really fell off and this location is the worst. The customer service is way below sub-par. It’s the attitudes and the way they talk to a customer. I placed an order online and arrived 20 minutes after the estimated time that my receit stated. The young lady told the cook she needed a large potatoe and the cook (light skinned gentlemen) response was, “she gone have to wait.” With the nastiest of attitudes as if I was someone disturbing him. You all need some serious training. I’m done supporting brands that don’t respect my $$$. It’s only a matter of time before others stop. I haven’t been here in years and today I was reminded why!

This location is the nastiest one I’ve ever been to. I tried to order on the phone, a three-piece drumstick dinner and they told me that they can’t sound individual pieces of chicken and I have to get it mixed in with other pieces, despite going to any other location in them doing it for me. But when you walk in, they make it for you the way you asked, so I had to wait an extra amount of time just because they wouldn’t do the order right over the phone. And then, when I got my food, it tasted better, Old, and disgusting. This is the only chicken shack that I’ve eaten that taste absolutely horrendous.

Very short handed and pop machine didn’t work. Only had one cook and food is cook to order and it was during lunch hour. Food was good and hot upside but wait more than 15/20 mins.

I should have went to the one on Woodward in Royal Oak. I asked after I ordered and paid (plus tipped) could I switch the wing for a drumstick and you would have thought it was going to take an act of congress for them to say yes or no went back and forth now in this strip there was at least 3 other places I could/should have spent my money, just before they said ok like they were doing me a huge favor, plus they have no plastic wear, no napkins or ketchup…like their chicken and BBQ sauce but I’ll go somewhere else or like I stated before maybe the location in Royal Oak, if I want Chicken Shack again smh
