This place is another reason i don’t trust a word any Yelper writes on there. The food was hot, very well seasoned and tasteful plus clean dining area. Yes the menu is essentially only 5 items, but all are well prepared and top quality in taste. I don’t taste any difference in quality from a British Indian restaurant charging 30 dollars for same plate but perhaps some may find it ludicrous ( most likely yelp employees with Google profiles) There may be gripes about customer service but my experience was they were respectful all the way. At a time when going out for lunch for a filling meal is running almost 20 dollars and fast increasing, the price for quality here can’t be beat.

I’m not supposed to be eating carbs or spicy food, but sometimes ya gotta live a little. And this was perfect! The chicken and salad are flavorful, but not too spicy. The $5 plate is just enough to satisfy the craving. May order some more chicken to go …

I’ve been told this is a good place, but the servings were a bit sparce. They were more liquid than meat and veggies. I don’t think they cook the food here. It might be cooked at their sister restaurant and brought in. The small servings that we did get we’re pretty good though.

Only a few food options and they aren’t bad, but not that good or interesting enough to ever return. There are no menu descriptions and the desire of the single employee onsite to explain anything seems about a 1 out of 1-10. I believe all food is prepared prior to service, then everything is steamtabled or reheated for the day. It’s cheap, so it has that going for it. Too bad…

I saw this place and my bf and I decided to give it a try. You really do get what you pay for. The portion size was not bad for $5 and the food wasn’t terrible. The service was ok, just awkward. The lady kind of just stands there and stares at you. I also decided to get a water and she charged me a dollar. I thought she was going to hand me a bottle, but gave me a plastic cup for the machine. Lol. What really threw me off was the food being pretty much almost cold. The rice was hot, but the Tikka masala and potato curry was luke warm. I asked her if she could heat it up and she glady did, but the plastic plate melted along with my food ! Honestly on top of the awkwardness and almost cold food, I won’t be coming back. $5 isn’t bad at all, but I wouldn’t risk catching something from the food for a cheap price.

For a $5 dollar place, not bad but not the greatest. The naan tasted like a generic pita and the food lacked seasoning. Service was great.

Fantastic food. I see others nitpicking other things about this place but it’s straightforward, $5 per box, good stuff. Love coming here whenever I can. Is it perfect? Probably not, but can’t beat the deal.

When I walked in it was very depressing no one eating in the restaurant just a young guy at the register the place is still decorated from when it used to be subway the food was mediocre I got the chicken tikka x 2 wasn’t horrible it was piping hot and it came with plain white rice and a piece of naan bread that look more like pita bread wasn’t fresh there still advertising there food as $5 but when I went to order I was told everything is now $7 which isn’t bad I guess would I go back probably not this place needs some help where’s Gordon Ramsey when you need him

I’m always very fair with my reviews and seek to help small businesses, but this place is not very good at all. I will say however that the cashier was very friendly and courteous and the service is fast albeit the food isn’t freshly prepared. That aside, we eat Indian food often and decided to try this spot and it falls very short from being even remotely competitive by any measure. The food was cold, the rice was bland, the chicken was cold and tough, and the naan bread tasted like normal low grade white bread, not authentic naan bread. The price is in fact too good to be true and I’d kindly suggest that your company should invest in a better qyality of food and processes if you hope to build a loyal customer base. Both my girlfriend and I felt ill after eating here. Oh well, we tried.
