What a great diner, the snow crabs and shrimp were so good. My son had the steak and it was awesome too but the best thing we had was the Obay Seasoned fried chicken wings. This is the real deal for Maryland seafood.

Tried Chic’s for the first time today. I’m a Northern Va local so this was an area I wasn’t too familiar with. Went in and tried the 1/2 dozen raw oysters (delicious!), cream of crab soup (thicker than I expected, but also fantastic!), Shrimp Basket w/ fries and Cole slaw, and Chicken Tender basket w/ Cole slaw and fries as well. Finally opted for sweet teas for my girlfriend and myself. Everything was s extremely delicious!! This truly is a hidden gem, one of the better seafood spots I’ve been to. Our waitress was very friendly and provided great customer service. They even had a little market when you first walk in where you can purchase take away, raw seafood for cooking at home. Overall – Wonderful atmosphere & will for sure be returning to get more seafood at this location! It really is a hidden gem in Hagerstown. Would recommend you try it out if you’re on the edge and unsure. You won’t regret!

Traveling and stopped by for seafood. Got the Snow Crab & Shrimp special for lunch today. Crab was steamed perfectly. Still juicy and the butter was very tasty. Would highly recommend and hope to be back soon.

Not a fancy place, but always popular. Food is always good and hot. Servers work very hard. I love that I can order just 3 crabs if that’s what I want. We love the corn fritters.

I’ve never heard of this restaurant before. After doing some google research on good seafood restaurants near me we gave them a try. It was delicious food. A good atmosphere. Our waitress was sweet. It was a great Mother’s Day dinner!

Tried the stuffed flounder. The flounder wasn’t the best in my opinion but the crab imperial and the service was great.

Server was Debbie, she is very nice and keeps ya taken care of! Love the small pitchers they use for drink cups. Ordered 12 medium blue crab and the spice mix they have is delicious. Love the butter dip also. They updated the place with new flooring etc…and looks great! Highly recommend

Worst crabs that I have ever had! I know that I ordered the smalls, I have been eating crabs for 50 years. And some of the smalls that I have eaten, have been tasty. Not these. They were dry and had little to no meat in them. I ordered a dozen and 4 of them were actually bad! They were black on top and when you opened them they smelled horrible and the meat was gray! I ordered them for Fathers Day and was extremely disappointed! Actually had to fix something else because we were still hungry!

Traveling for work and a patient who I was caring for lived in town told me about this place. I love seafood so decided to try it out. Older small owned business, home type feeling. To the left is somewhat of a store to buy food (variety) and to the right you can dine in. No actual noticeable “bar” per say but they do provide alcoholic beverages, which were good. I just did a basic Tequila with a splash of cranberry. Waitress was nice. I opted for the crab cakes which were good. Fries….OMG nothing like fresh cut french fries. Cole slaw was just ok. Overall, definitely nice place and would go back when in town.
