I had the fish and shrimp plate and it was good. The shrimp were good size but had a tad bit of fishy taste to them but still pretty good. The fried fish was pretty good but a little small for the amount of breading on them. The Cole slaw was excellent! My cheif complaint was that their was a little girl running around the restaurant putting her little hat on half the customers in there. She wouldn’t leave my grandbaby alone and had her coloring book all on my table in front of me. I think the child belongs to the owner that brought our food to our table. She asked if she was bothering us and I ask if she would have her to go play back at the table that she was at before we came in so I could get my grandbaby to eat without her right in her face. I didn’t want to be rude but someone could be doing something to that child while the mother is in the kitchen.

The food and service were REALLY good but they need to work on making sure the seafood bar is kept full when it’s supper time. We went at 6pm last nite and there was NOTHING in the warmer pans. They were cooking it but we had to make do with veggies and salads and since we were hungry, by the time the fried seafood got replenished, we were somewhat full already.

Excellent food and service! Best kept secret in Calhoun! My 11yo and I shared the the seafood platter that came with catfish, frog legs, fried butterfly shrimp, stuffed crab, boiled shrimp, hush puppies, fries (or baked potato), and cole slaw (or salad). Everything on the plate was cooked to perfection! Whoever was doing the cooking had the oil at the perfect temperature because nothing was even slightly greasy! The plate was so full we couldn’t finish all of it! They also have the sweetest family friendly atmosphere! It just felt good from the moment we walked in! We’ll definitely be back!
