I have had many events here in the past few years. Their crew always sets up and breaks down everything in a polite and friendly manner. Rental prices for their event room is very reasonable with food/or without. You also can add the bar on that side for convenience. The pub is a great addition to this town, it’s exceptional. Always love their food, and great specials.

If you’re looking for a good Irish restaurant in the area, look no further. The food is good, service is friendly and fast. I had Bavarian pretzel for appetizer and fish and chips. Pairs well with draft Guinness. They also have a parking lot.

If ya want something to eat, and you’re fiending for meat, they got some good grub. The servers are nice and the drinks are cold, tho a bit expensive for a small town watering hole. Ordered the fish and chips, very disappointed! The fish must be frozen and then deep-fried because it was soggy inside. Only gave it a two instead of one because of the portion size.

Chieftans has great food, service and atmosphere! Nestled in downtown Cobleskill right off the main street is the place to be. Their regular menu has traditional Irish pub offerings and the specials are always super good and change frequently to keep it fresh. Very prompt service and the atmosphere is unique but very comfortable. A must to experience if you are in the area!
