Mr. Ortiz personally made our meal himself for a party of 7. And made us feel like family. The food was authentic and amazing. The salsa and guacamole are made fresh from scratch. Everything we ordered was truly delicious.The atmosphere was welcoming and the restaurant was very clean. We truly enjoyed our dinner and company so much that we decided to go back for lunch the next day. This spot would be a regular hangout for dinner for us if we didn’t live so far away. But, rest assured, we will come back every time we are in Clearwater.

LOVE this spot! The owner is the chef and it looks like a 1 man show. But he was so kind & sweet. Cooked our food right there on the spot, he even trusted us to pay after we finished eating so he could start helping other customers—just so genuine! Food was off the charts delicious. He even has a sign that says anyone with Down Syndrome or Autism eats free… what a kind, caring human can’t recommend this place enough!

Pros- My family of 5 and I absolutely loved the food. Authentic Mexican cuisine at its finest. We had the carne asada tacos, nachos, fries with steak and cheese and also the home made pineapple juice. Everything was TOP NOTCH FOR MY TASTE BUDS. The decor was very chic, it wasn’t crowded and the restaurant owner allows autistic kids to eat FREE which is very heart warming. One reason I love small businesses.

Do yourself a favor and stop by this spot for your taco/ Mexican food fix. We stayed at the JW across the street and we were so happy we decided to try this place out! We got tacos, loaded nachos and burrito and everything was delicious! We liked the food so much that we went back there a couple more times. And it felt good to support a small business.

This was the BEST tacos and Mexican/Spanish food I’ve every had in my entire life! The owner of this business is running this company like a business should. He is cooking this food with historical and cultural accuracy. Every single item on his menu is cooked to order. You can tell that every single play that is made is created with precision, intelligence, and love. I would leave 10 Stars here if this was possible. A humble yet resounding experience. Each food item was quickly and carefully prepared with a perfect blend of authentic Mexican flavor and heart. I don’t remember the last time a meal & space made me slow down and be intentional about every bite. So beautiful, & renewing. So good!!! I couldn’t stop eating to take a pic. Absolutely delicious and the service is just as delicious as the fair. Did I say the food was delicious! Oh my goodness if you want authentic Mexican cuisine this is a must stop! If you want Taco Bell don’t come here, you’ll be disappointed in how Taco Bell is absolute trash in comparison to this place! First time in Clearwater and I think I would fly the 1500 miles just to have this meal.

The portions are so small, my 6 yr old laughed, it was the tiniest tortilla I have ever seen, traditional Mexican beans are pinto, he serves a very very watered down black bean, the tacos are the tiniest taco I have ever seen! The food for the price is embarrassing! We were the ONLY ones in the restaurant which should have told us something the tortilla chips are dripping in grease, our order was wrong. Did we eat all of our food, yes, we were hungry and it cost $90 for the tiniest plates of food I have ever seen, my husband asked if this was a joke. The quesadilla was around 2.5 inches. The quality of the food was subpar. I am absolutely embarrassed that this is being presented as Mexican food. This is a disgrace and he knows this. Pan Filo is a few doors down and actually has a good taco. This man! I can make you a better taco out of my hotel room! This man is stealing!
