Came here for dim sum on the weekend around 12p and the entire place was open! Sat on the patio and ordered from the QR code on the table. Drinks and food comes out quick and if you over order like me there’s always to go boxes. My partner loves their fried chicken, the XO shrimp is mine.

Our first time eating here yesterday for lunch. It was recommended by a friend. It is a quaint restaurant close to the beach. When we entered, one of the staff greeted us and said to pick anywhere we like & to order using the QR code. It is a “no touch” restaurant and we felt that it was more a self serve since we had to get our water and there was no one to talk to about the menu if we had any questions. We were sitting outside and would have to go inside to talk to the staff. When the food was delivered, the server didn’t ask if we needed anything and I had to ask for extra napkins. They weren’t busy and for a while, we were the only one there. We reluctantly gave a 15 percent tip since there was really no real service and unpleasantly surprise that there is a surcharge added when we ordered on the app. On the positive note, the dishes were delicious.

Chiko stands for Chinese and Korean. All the dishes are fusion of the two. We came with a group of 6 adults and 5 kids between the ages of 3 to 8. We ordered family style to share and even had left overs to take home!

Just what I’ve been looking for, lovely, light and fresh fusion! Enjoyed a stellar spicy tuna tartar, an in-house chilled noodle/w cucumber/peanut salad and galbi beef skewers. Cucumber abounds here (applause)! Anticipating many happy returns.

What a great place for fun Chinese/Korean fusion foods! Great outdoor seating area with picnic tables for larger groups and regular tables. Can order at the front counter or from the QR code at your table. Staff was friendly and service was prompt. Parking is limited but available on the north side of the restaurant in a gravel lot. Loved all the foods and flavors and will be back! Also really enjoyed their house made spicy sauce that you can get on the side.

What a great place to eat in Encinitas! The food is so interesting and delicious. I recommend the crazy corn and the crispy chicken spring rolls. I have to mention that the chef behind the counter with a beautiful smile was so kind and accommodating,-explaining the food and making sure our order was correct and then packaging up any leftovers for us !

Enjoyed this casual restaurant. There are QR codes at each table and you simply scan, order and pay on your phone. Service is friendly and efficient. I tried the smashed salmon and broccoli. Enjoyed both- they had nice flavors but a bit too much oil for my liking. My partner had the brisket and Brussels sprouts. He absolutely loved both. Not too many vegan options.
