Wow. You must try Chile Verde Mexican Restaurant the next time you are in the area. This restaurant was chosen via a quick Google Maps search when passing through. The food was AMAZING. You must try the pineapple dish with steak, chicken and shrimp. The question dip was too thin, but had a great flavor. The food was delivered hot and quick once our order was taken. Enjoy!

We happened in to Chile Verde after our day at MerleFest. The service was superb. Our meals were superb. I had the Jose Pina, served in a half pineapple. It was unique and delicious and reasonably priced. I think it was pretty healthy too. We live 50 miles away, but plan to return whenever we can.

Came here for lunch while at work. It was Sunday, but we were seated quickly. Chips and salsa were brought out. Salsa was better than most. Would have loved more, but we never saw our waitress until our meals arrived. We had the chile verde with steak and el volcanito. Both were delicious. The salsa verde was on another level. Even after the meat was gone, the sauce needed to be scooped up, but our waitress never returned to offer more chips. A step above other Mexican restaurants. Will definitely come back.

This is my new favorite restaurant in Wilkesboro. Both the food and service were great! I walked in right after they opened and was greeted and offered a drink within a minute. My server was friendly and attentive (without being pushy). The atmosphere was nice and the prices are reasonable for the large portions you get.

It’s now at the top of our list for local Mexican. I made a meal out of the loaded nachos. My wife got the chimichangas and really liked it. Service was great, especially considering we waited till almost closing time to stop in.

Having to wait 30-45 minutes for a to go order, it was a Monday night day before the 4th of July stopped in the Wilkesboro location, the food was dry, no flavor or seasoning and didn’t get any red or green sauce with our street tacos the food was like thrown together after waiting for so long definally not up to Chile Verde standards
