What a great little jewel in downtown Saint Louis. I skipped out on the boring mass food at the hotel convention and found Chili Mac Diner. Not only was lunch including a tip only $10, but it is nostalgic, and the service was super fast and friendly. I had the Chili Mac and it was delicious. The small size was plenty for lunch.

Great little diner. Very affordable. The food was smaller portion, but it is ridiculously expensive. If you have a huge appetite, order two plates. ‍♂️

The friendliest restaurant staff I’ve ever experienced! They all make you feel so welcomed. Can’t beat the price for what you’re getting either. This diner is perfect slice of Americana!

This place probably at one point was great. Classic old school small diner, has a lot of potential. The owner cook & server all seem annoyed and tired- general feeling they could not wait to close at 1: 30pm.. guy sat down at 1:15 p.m. and boy did they seem annoyed. I sat just before 1:00 and was told I have 15 minutes to hurry up and order.

Get the Slinger! If you are looking for great affordable unique dining in St. Louis this is your place. It’s a diner atmosphere and amazing Coney Island chili. You can get bowls or top a burger, fries, eggs or hot dog. Great fast service and delicious. Reminds me of The Coney in Johnstown, Pa.

I can not say enough good things about this place. We had breakfast there twice because we liked it so much. We fed two adults and a child for around 30$ total and ate our fill. The French toast was the best I’ve ever had, the scrambled eggs were delicious and fluffy, and the atmosphere was immaculate. I know the next time I come to the area I’m going to go try their dinner menu as well!

Cheap eats in downtown St. Louis. Your typical sit down diner – everything was great! Quick service & delicious food cooked by grandmas.

First time experiencing this place and the food was horrible . The food had so much grease piled in it I guarantee you will be in the hospital for high cholesterol after u done eating it. I will never go back. Worst breakfast place I’ve been to they don’t deserve one star. But I had to put at least one star for me to post it.
