I’m very strict about food. I been to Chennai express in Cranston, Rhode island, Tawa fish is not close to it. In Tampa they don’t provide Cutlery & Napkins. If u dine in Restaurant same price they Provide everything, but Indian tradition is not make mad to guest so we Provide all the hospitality to Guest Even customer. Because they thought if they provide 1 Napkin & 1 spoon or Fork they going to broke. But they don’t believe in God more u gave more u get. I’m from North India, & from here I’m from central Cali. IF u have chance to come to Cali, I will take it to u where they want & let them feel shame Cause their service to customer. Fish & Biryani is Average. God Bless Them. Even they know the name who ordered is Indian. Indian Culture is very Rich about Food. I Forgive them.

Today i had ordered 10 chicken 65 biryani’s and 1 paneer biryani .After 1 hour I received the order but all the biryani’s was stinky and disgusting smell. I couldn’t even taste all of them. Even giving 1 star is not worth of it. The packing was not quite good

We decided to try Godavari- Indian Restaurant in Tampa for dinner. For dinner we ordered Gobi 65, Thagubothu Kodi Vepudu ( Dry Chicken), Kodi Tandoori, Hyderabadi Chicken Dum Biryani, Kashmiri Kadai Paneer and Garlic Naan. The food was amazing and the service was also fast. The service was fast and we got the food very quickly. The decor was also amazing. Really loved each of the food we tried. Amazing indian restaurant. Do try this restaurant.

We usually go for the buffet on weekends and it is amazing to see say the least. The Goat Biryani and Chicken 65 are my personal favorites. I would give 5 stars but on some occasions we’ve received old stale food when ordered via Uber Eats. Otherwise I’d highly recommend the buffet.

Goat fry Briyani- presentation is great. Taste good. But this is not Briyani. From the taste looks like the meat is cooked as curry and mixed with rice. The top layer has long grains rice. While once you see the middle portion the rice is broken and the texture is different. So don’t expect authentic Briyani.

Overall, a good place to dine, particularly buffet has great options. We tried couple of items on à là cartè, and manchurian was amazing while biryani was satisfactory (he forgot to put any salt on one of them). But, the place has authentic menu and positive vibe. I recommend it, if you are around!

This is by far the best South Indian restaurant in Tampa! Dont waste your time and money trying other restaurants, especially if you want to experience Indian food for the first time. Best Goat Pulao, Great Biryani options, amazing vegetarian and non veg plates…Chicken is juicy and delicious in every form they cook it! Definitely, my favorite restaurant.

They have the best biryanis, Iyer Sambhar rice, chicken 65, vada Sambhar, chilli chicken and chicken schezwan! We order all of these every single time we stop by Patel brothers for weekly shopping. And always get yourself a mango lassi! The new items like dosa and gobi pepper are also good!
