Everything I have had to eat at this place has tasted really good. That’s based on multiple visits over several years. The tacos and chimichangas are delicious. The nachos come on a huge plate. The place is a college bar and grill atmosphere, music and a motley mix of tables and chairs. The service is good, the last time we were there the waitress came by the table like every 5 minutes to see if we needed anything. If your near, go get a beer and chimichanga!

Chimys was suggested by an Alumni. We went last night. It didn’t waver! The atmosphere fun for students & visitors! The steak fajita nachos were perfect for two as the menu stated. Generous portion of meat & cheese. Onions sautéed perfect with just enough jalapeños to give flavor without overwhelming. Whiskey Rita tasty & perfect. The security checked & carded as necessary much to my daughter’s chagrin. We would go back!

TOO MANY FUN TIMES @ CHIMY’S!!!! The absolute greatest place to hang. But seriously…dont go because then there’ll be too many of you and not enough room for lil’ ol’ me!! LOVE sitting outside when the weather’s nice. Always have great music playing. Lots of delicious, well priced drink options. Make friends in the tiny bathroom!! Can’t get enough of this place or the nachos! So Texas sized they go in a pizza box when taken “to go”!

Local college bar with eats. Good atmosphere for the most part. Ordered the beef nachos, which is big enough for two. I ordered avocado slices on them and was given 3 little slices for .99 cents. They have a topping bar so you can add your own. Really should have guacamole on the menu. Be prepared to be carded, no matter what age you are. I am 56 and still got carded before entry.

Food and drinks are good, a bit on the high side being so close to a college. They do charge a credit card fee which should be their responsibility. At least they tell you, but it’s on your receipt AFTER you pay.

Top self margaritas are the truth, DO NOT DRIVE! They are that good. Salsa nice and fresh. The chips are delightfully crispy. The enchiladas are hot and tasty. I highly recommend dining here. Oh and the lunch specials are superb.
