China1 at Big Bend & 141? More like China Zero. It was TERRIBLE. We took advice from others on social media and ordered China1 Saturday, March 5, 2022. It was, by far, the worst Chinese food we’ve ever had. My son ordered Chicken Fried Rice and he said that it didn’t taste right. I inspected it closely and found that the chicken was so undercooked, it was still pink inside. My wife ordered Sweet and Sour Shrimp and it was also undercooked. The breading was so raw inside it was like dough. We all threw our food out. $40 wasted. We’re going to stick with Thai food from Asian Corner. The food is always fresh and delicious.

In general, food has not been up to par in the last few months. For instance, chicken fried rice ordered was not seasoned, was very bland and broccoli beef had very little meat. After 3 different orders, we have curbed our craving for their menu items. As far as staff, older gentleman at counter was not very friendly, told my husband that he should order online instead of just walking in to order. Said to husband, “don’t you see we are busy”? Here is hoping the restaurant revamps their food to former quality and reviews good customer service with employees. Hate to see this small business who used to be good, suffer less patronage.

Not sure what kind of meat was in my chicken fried rice. There was no crab in my crab Rangoon. With prices now double, you would think there would be vegetables in your fried rice and the red sauce for the crab Rangoon would be free since you normally eat red sauce with it. Won’t go back. That’s for sure.

I’ve been eating here for a year and a half and it’s usually fairly good but they have made mistakes on order several times in the past. Tonight’s order was especially bad. I had Chicken lo mein and it was quite difficult to locate any chicken or anything else with taste. There were plenty of noodles but not very tasty. I always order fried dumplings with extra dipping sauce and tonight they actually had the nerve to charge me $1.22 for the additional dipping sauce of less than an ounce. It didn’t even taste the same as usual, not as good. I will not return here again. The $1.22 put me over the edge.

I used the online ordering app to place my order. I ordered 2 lunch specials – First one was Shrimp in Garlic Sauce, with my choices I picked “very hot” and in special instructions asked for NO green pepper. I also chose the side of egg drop soup and in the same instructions I asked for no green pepper, I asked for them to put green onions in the soup. My 2nd pick was the chicken lo mein, in the special instructions on that one I asked that they substitute shrimp and that I would pay the difference.

I don’t know why this only has 2.5 stars. I think it’s convenient, it tastes great and they are super quick. The hot and spicy soup is great and my family loves everything we get. Sometimes it’s loud on the phone but, you try making all that food super quick and taking phone calls bilingually. Love it.

This place needs total improvement on the staff. As I was halfway eating there was a lady that came up to me and literally held out her hand and said “money, money, money” and she looked annoyed for some reason. The staff here should be trained to be nice not treat customers poorly. Other than that the food was very flavorless.

The tofu had gone bad and the manager not only refused to replace it or refund it but wouldn’t admit that i might know what rotten tofu tastes like. He just kept arguing until i finally hung up. Ive been getting the tofu from there for years, but I’m done now.

Ordered 2 combos for dinner. Chicken with cashews and General Tsaos chicken medium spicy. Both orders had tough chicken. No cashews in the cashew chicken. Never order from here.
