China Best has been our #1 go-to Chinese restaurant as long as we have lived in Hayward. There is not a single dish of disappointment, but our absolute favorites are: walnut prawn, combination chow fun, salt & pepper pork, and Mongolian beef. Last night we had friends over, so we picked up: peking spare rib (aka sweet and sour pork ribs), eggplant and tofu in garlic sauce, combination pan fried noodle, and fish fillet in black bean sauce. It’s making me hungry again writing this post.

Ate at this place while setting up for a graduation. The hot and sour soup tasted like seasoned water. I also ate the curry and it literally made me throw up. Like all the food we ordered was bland, no one was pleased with there meal. I threw up everything I ate. Waste of my money. Literally would’ve been better to just throw my money in the trash can

The egg fried noodle with chicken we ordered is totally a disaster, the chicken isn’t fresh and very smelly, taste like spoiled. The other one fried rice is fine.

Real flavor, real chicken, real green beans that snap and pop in your mouth. Will come back again and again!

Ordered for delivery I got “Dan Dan” noodles idk this was just chow mein with meat on top. I also got sauteed green bean with tofu in black bean sauce, Idk where the black bean sauce went and its seriously watery with no flavor of fermented beans at all.

I stopped for dinner to go and had the Combo Chow Mein and Popcorn Chicken. The staff was incredibly nice and friendly, bursting with energy and kindness. I had to wait a little and they gave me a free Thai Iced Tea! That was really generous. The food turned out really great, I thought the chow mein was seasoned just right, not too oily, the popcorn chicken was crispy, and the Thai iced tea was fabulous.

The food is always fresh and delicious, service is quick, and they’re so kind! Their chow mein, Mongolian beef, and kung pao chicken are some of my favorite items.

Jessica has amazing customer service. I love her enthusiastic, and lively spirit. She looks out for her customers and makes really good food recommendations if you are not sure what to order! She even gave my friend and I free Thai’ Tea drinks!!! Definitely worth the investment!

This is upscale food quality at a value price. I am not a big expert of Chinese food but I like the classics, Mongolian beef etc. Staff is very nice and attentive. The guy in the kitchen really looks like he know what he’s doing. Very friendly. The place is well kept, very nice granite tables and leather seats very clean. The only downside is that bit TV screen that should not be found in any decent restaurant.
