FLY COOKED IN THE FOOD. Absolutely disgusted threw up my meal after almost eating the piece of broccoli that was on top of it . I called just to let them know but she tried to say at first that it was a fly from my house…. When I moved the broccoli it was underneath , when I told her no she then offered to replace my meal but I will personally never eat here just makes me wonder how many flys land on the uncovered food they have in the back out in the open.

Ordered last night for dinner. Noodles were dry and stale. Egg roll and spring rolls tasted like they were cooked in spoiled oil and were soaked in oil. Threw out almost all of meal. Won’t order from them again.

The absolute worst customer service I’ve ever experienced in my life ! She would look me up and down, say things under her breath and pass insults while I was paying her. The old hag of a lady was exceptionally rude on multiple occasions but what made me never go back was when I asked her for NAPKINS!… she gave me the death stare and said… “why you don’t have napkins at home” ?? If I asked for spicy in oil it’s 50 cents per piece, if you ask for soy sauce or hot sauce, you get one packet, if you ask for utensils it’s one per piece. There’s a tops china down the street…. Much better service and cheaper prices. This lady does not deserve to be in business!

Being an avid fan of Chinese takeout, I took a shot in the dark and ordered from China Cafe for the first time. I was extremely disappointed. My favorite choice of Wonton Soup had the smell of warm, dirty bath water with a touch of soy sauce. The egg rolls were far too greasy and tasted like the vegetables inside of them had gone bad. The saving grace of our meal were the dumplings; however, do not be fooled as they are not prize winning dumplings. I’m giving them a fair acknowledgment, as they were the only item we could eat, but the dumplings themselves were utterly forgettable. 1 star do not recommend.

Ordered a General Tso chicken and it tasted more like a sweet and sour chicken minus the sour. The meal was a 3 star at best until someone about to order pointed out there were dead mice in the kitchen. Got up to take a look and not only was there mice in the kitchen but also next to counter! Threw away my food and left. Stay away

This is the best Chinese restaurant I’ve found in the Alexandria area. Food was great. Service was REALLY slow at a lost 1.5 hours for delivery. However the person I spoke to on the phone and upon delivery was very friendly and apologetic. I’ll definitely give them another try at delivery in the future to see if they were exceptionally busy.

We were in the area around lunchtime and took a chance. We were told that the seating area was open, but we were the only ones in the place, which should have been our 1st clue! The food was ok, but nothing to write home about, and was served in the Styrofoam take-out, which seemed odd but not a deal breaker. The biggest issue was the lady that took out order kept yelling loudly at some unseen guy in the kitchen area for the entire time we were eating. Totally unprofessional. Between the yelling from the staff (owners?) and the TV blowing “Days of Our Lives” we basically were being blasted by 2 soap operas at once! I’d avoid this place, it’s literally not worth all the drama.
