I have lived in Duluth for awhile now and I can say that this place easily has some of the better/best Chinese food options in the city if you’re not looking to spend a ton of money. The food is pretty good and the service is really consistent. I get a combo for myself each time and the price is really great for what you get.

I order hot and sour soup ,broccoli chicken ,and tofu with pork dishes .The lady was so rude when we enter the restaurant she didn’t even greet us and ask us what we want .She was looking straight to me like she never see human being before . The food was absolutely bad .everything was so salty and sours .As I told her I can’t consume that kind of sour food .She said this is our style and couldn’t able to fix it . She is extreme rude .She even put bowls and plate with attitude .everything have filled with celery. Not recommended for lunch and necer go back again .It’s not worth it for your time and money .

We have been coming here for years, mostly for take out. The food is tasty and sold at a reasonable price. Portions are generous. Service is prompt and staff are polite and focused on their tasks so very little chit chat occurs. We dined in today and had delicious food but had to order food at the cash register since there was no server dedicated to seated parties. The tasty food is our focus.

China Cafe has been my go-to for the past 6 years I’ve lived in Duluth. The portions are large, food is great, and cost is decent. My usual is Orange Chicken with rice and cream cheese wontons, my significant other’s usual is House Lo Mein and Pot Stickers. Never been disappointed, thank you China Cafe!!

Delivery was fast. But the food was very bland. Fried rice was dry with no flavor. Sesame chicken was soggy. The wontons were okay, a bit soft. Overall mediocre food, definitely not worth what I spent. I would not order again.

Great food value. We ordered takeout Beef and Broccoli, Sweet Chili Chicken, Eggrolls and the Serving portions were large and tasted good.

The fried rice is absolutely disgusting. Dry, flavorless and greasy. My general tsao chicken was so hard I couldn’t eat it. The shrimp chow mein was mostly celery and had a very bland sauce. Never eating here again.

Egg foo yong was probably the worst that I’ve ever seen. The gravy was a thick like pork chop gravy. There was only one egg foo young patty and was rolled up and put in the container with the rice and the fried chicken. I was not impressed.

By far my favorite Chinese food restaurant in Duluth. My usual order is Orange Chicken with white rice and an order of cream cheese wontons. Will definitely be a lifelong customer as long as I’m around!

They have such great food, but their delivery times are insane! The last few times we’ve ordered delivery I had to call over an hour later and ask about it, and then they say “20 minutes” – so it’s 1.5 hours before getting our food.
