The meal I had at China Castle was the best Chinese food I have ever eaten. Each part of my meal was juicy and tasty, to the point of me going out of my comfort zone and try a mushroom in my dish, which I usually avoid and dislike. Even when it was something I normally do not enjoy, the food was amazing. The water chestnuts in my dish we’re not too hard or too soft, the one bite of sweet and sour combo amazed me with the tempura batter, somehow being absolutely perfect. It was like the sweet and sour chicken I had growing up was somehow made wrong, and I was awoken to a perfected meal. My one regret is discovering such meal right before their day of the week off. My meal was wonderful, and my wallet is not in ruin.

I could make better fried rice if I never made it before. This food is not good. I had an issue with this place 20 years ago. The chicken tasted rancid. I brought this stuff back and they didn’t give a refund. Go to Tsunami. They have better food. This time I don’t what we were eating. Tasted terrible.

Every time we come in Honesdale,we ordered food or dine in . We always ❤️ their food. But last Friday we ordered was a big disappointment. The egg foo yong was burned, the noodles and fried rice was so oily..the taste was so different, salty . it was shocking never ordered food from them that comes this way.

Everything that was fried tasted like it was fried in rancid or old oil. The fried noodles were inedible, and the egg rolls tasted like rancid oil. The food was just okay. The food used to be very good, but things have gone down hill.

Best food since NYC and anywhere around here . We drive the 40 min it’s so worth it. We went in tonight didn’t know they didn’t have in door dinning which was fine the food is always nice and warm when we get home. They are the sweetest there and again the food is just so good. Unfortunately they can’t find workers , no one wants to work anymore how sad this country has become . Hopefully they find good people so they can open up indoor dining.
