My goto place for Chinese takeout; standard Americanized favorites, large portions, reasonable prices. My current favorite is Mongolian Beef, but also love the combo lomein, sesame chicken, and hot n sour soup. Today, I had beef w/ veggies in garlic sauce; yum.

I get takeout from here at least twice monthly. It is a family-owned business. The food is cooked to order. The staff is friendly, polite, and hard-working. Our faves are egg drop soup, General Tso Chicken, Shrimp Lo Mein, and Crab Rangoon. They are closed on Mondays. Sometimes there is a bit of a wait, but the fresh food is worth it.

Well. I have been searching for a Chinese food restaurant for some time now, the food presentation was awesome the sesame seed chicken juice was watery, the taste was subpar, the remaining was trashed the crab racoon had a fish taste, the fried rice was rather dry, and lo mein noodles were tastelss, Not to mention the total was $40 bucks wasted. I hope things change soon. Needless to say I don’t see myself revisiting this establishment again. I wish this place the best.

Gave them another try. Went there in person to order. They still got it wrong. I called them and there whole attitude was “the person that took the order wrote it down wrong- that is how we fixed it” talked for several minutes and they really did not want to fix it. I give up! The order originally took 45 minutes (told 30 minutes)- no way I was going to wait that long. The food we did get was over cooked and lacked taste.

I had a craving for Chinese. Mr. Lu’s is closed on Tuesday’s, so I drove up the road a little ways to give them a try. It’s a Tuesday afternoon… one would figure the oil would be fresh… sadly the cheese wontons were dark brown and the egg rolls were even darker… this really set the mood.

We have come to this place for YEARS. Every time we order we know it’s going to take a while. Tonight we ordered at 6:45 the young lady on the phone said 45-50 minutes. My husband gets there at 7:30. The food is still not ready, and he continues to wait. Someone else came up to pay for their food and left. My husband goes to ask how much longer. The young lady then realized she had given the other customer our food. I understand accidents happen, but the gentleman making the food, then tells my husband he needed to wait at the end of the line. Mind you this is now 8:15. Our food was given to another person and we are to wait another 30/40 minutes. I am disappointed they didn’t handle this better than they did.
