We have eaten here in the past but this last time the food was just horrid. The vegetable fried rice didn’t look or taste like it had even been fried. I ordered Beef chow fun and was given the wrong order. The lo mein looked good until you put it in your mouth. I don’t know what’s happened at this restaurant but we won’t be back.

I’m confused how this restaurant has a rating over 4 stars. This is the 2nd time we’ve ordered here and the 2nd time we weren’t impressed at all. Not even a little. I gave 2 stars because ordering online was easy, the food was ready on time, and the lady at the counter seemed friendly enough. But the food both times was a huge disappointment. The chicken & shrimp combo had breading on the chicken which in the sauce made it mushy breading. I’ve never had chicken shrimp w/vegetables combo at another restaurant that had breading on it. The BBQ wings also aren’t good, and the healthy chicken broccoli meal tasted like the chicken was boiled (weird texture) and had zero seasoning…. my kids wouldn’t touch it. We live in Pickens which has limited restaurant options but my spouse works in Clemson so we were excited to see a Chinese restaurant in between work and home… but 2x out of 2 we didn’t enjoy the food at all so we’ll likely not be going back.

I stopped here expecting standard American Chinese food–the home style menu was a pleasant surprise. I have never had Ma Po Tofu with Szechuan peppercorns outside of a literal Szechuan restaurant. Have enjoyed the double-cooked pork belly, the tofu eggplant pot, the beef with Chinese flowering cabbage (so savory!!!), the fish ball soup, and the water-boiled fish. Highest marks.

Excellent spicy food. The closest combination of indian Chinese food you can get in Clemson. Few dishes are bit oily that’s the only thing to watch out for.

I have no idea what happened bc I usually like China Express. I got Beef and Broccoli just now and my beef was slimy and rice tasted like oil, not fried. I couldn’t eat it, now I feel nauseated.

Absolutely horrific. Obviously (from working food) I can tell they just refried the fries and chicken… stale and hard. And the HAIR IN MY BOX I couldn’t. Also charged me extra 6$ AND DIDNT EVEN ATTEMPT TO MAKE THE ORDER HOW I ASKED!

The food here was so delicious. Also, the portions were generous. The store was super clean and the staff was very nice. I love Chinese food and this place reminded me of the restaurants from up north when I use to live there. If I’m ever in Clemson, South Carolina again I will definitely eat there. Thank you for a great meal.

The lemon pepper chicken was so so very lemony but not sour…strong like pine sol though. The sesame chicken….rubbery, sauce was not great. The mixed vegetable and steam rice was greasy but best of the three.
