This is the Lunch Special Chicken Lo Mein. Service was very quick, but the chicken is slimy and woefully undercooked. Aside from that, the rest of the dish was very flavorful and enjoyable. Wish I could give it a better review. Willing to try again but only if I specify to cook it longer.

Order ahead because they are usually very busy, for that reason I wouldn’t really recommend eating in, but they are worth the wait for take out. Tofu is great for vegetarians, it’s called bean curd on the menu. Fried rice top tier, as well as all the noodle dishes. Best Chinese food in Caldwell country in my opinion.

Ate here for the first time tonight, we just moved here from PA! I must say this food was out of this world. We got sweet and sour chicken, general tso & sesame chicken. Everything was cooked phenomenally! I could not recommend this place more!! Will be eating here again & again!!

If I could give this restaurant, the food, the cook’s upkeep of cleanliness, Everything… a BIG FAT ZERO, I would. I ordered the Crab wontons (appetizer 12/$6.xx) and Large Shrimp Fried Rice and greatly Disappointed to find – Most disgusting (Chinese) food in all my 46 years. The crab wontons taste like a combo of ginger seasoning, tyme and what I can only imagine dirty trash can would taste like.…Oh and let’s not forget the grease that oozed out, when you bite into it. Then there was the Shrimp fried rice, lets just compare it to dirty oily dishwater.

The food was burnt, ordered fried rice and what I got was boiled rice, absolutely no flavor , gravy tasted like it was old. Called and complained about Egg Foo Young and they said they don’t make it but it’s on the menu and that’s what I received. I wouldn’t recommend that resturant to anyone.. Nasty Food.

Probably the best Chinese I have eaten in a long time anywhere other than in Durham NC, where they have over 200 Chinese restaurants. I have given up on good Chinese in Boone! Someone at work suggested China Garden in Lenoir. Oh. My. Gosh. Totally worth the drive! Most folks get take out from what I observed while eating there with my parents who are equally picky about good Chinese. We stopped in on the way home from Charlotte and now understand what everyone is raving about. The restaurant itself is nothing special. A few tables if you do choose to eat in. But the FOOD! The hot and sour and egg drop soup were so delicious and you could tell they were hand made. The shrimp and lobster sauce, Kung Po Chicken and Hunan Chicken were all fabulous. The dumplings were homemade and the filling did not taste bland like some restaurants. It was only a husband/wife team when we were there, so you may have to wait. They are doing EVERYTHING. Now I have to do a few road trips to Lenoir!!!! Yum!
