They told me “it’s good”, “it’s the best” Where in the hell are your taste buds. This is absolutely the worst Chinese food in Polk county. Have these people ever even wandered outside of Winter Haven. I got my husband Bourbon chicken and it was just chicken with no seasoning. Who does this? He was afraid to eat it so he threw it away. The fried rice had no flavor either. Do yourself a favor and don’t.

The food has really gone downhill at this place. I just had the oiliest egg foo young. I couldn’t even finish the dish. It was such a waste of money. The accompanying gravy was also full of lumps. The prices have increased and the quality is non-existent. Needless to say I will NOT be back.

I’m glad I found this place. I order there very often. Every single time I ordered my food was fresh, hot and good. I have never experienced a problem thus far. I recommend the Singapore noodles which is my favorite with just chicken & shrimp. The shrimp egg rolls are delicious The vegetable & chicken fried rice is also good. The only other thing i tried from there is there crab ragoon, not a fan. But again try the spot on your own to see if the food is up to your par.

The first time we visited China Garden the appetizers were great, but the dinner menu items lacked any real taste; had to add soy sauce, which most places you do not. We ordered again two days ago thinking they were having a bad day the first time, and it was worse with the egg rolls not freshly made, but tasted dried up and reheated; the fried dumplings were barely grilled; the chicken teriyaki was cooked enough, but not crispy, and was tasteless. The General Tso’s Chicken we asked for mild, so there was no heat at all, just a lot of super sweet taste to it. Never again, and it’s a shame because we live so close to it.

They only do take out despite having several tables and chairs. The chicken lo mein was ok. Not much chicken, the vegetables were way under cooked. The rice seemed like it old and dried up. Only ate half the dry egg roll.

Husband liked his fried rice. I ordered chicken Mei Fun. Tasteless, plain rice noodles, no sauce, hardly any chicken or veggies. We’ve ordered from them many times and food was good. No more.
