I don’t usually review restaurants but this was the worst food experience we have ever had. Food was cold off of the buffet. The saying “you eat with your eyes first” is so true. The food didn’t even look appetizing at the buffet. The selection was not great, and food did not taste good. This was the most expensive soft serve ice cream I’ve ever had. Even the jello had a skin on the top that I couldn’t bite through. Gross. Will never go back. Also, my fortune cookie? Pretty sure this is the philosophy of their restaurant.

Under 15 per person, eat all you want. Spicy Mongolian pork & Indian chicken are yummy on buffet and jalapeño chicken! For those who like less spice, many choices! Meat, potatoes, breads, rice, noodles. Staff was super kind, cleared plates right away, and everything was clean. We arrived at 5:20pm on a Thursday just ahead of the rush. Something for young & old and everyone in between. We will absolutely be back! Glad we turned around.

Don’t believe the bad reviews. All the food on the buffet was hot and being refilled often. Everything was flavorful especially the green beans, fried shrimp and chicken and broccoli. The hot and sour soup was really spicy. I loved the sugar fried biscuits. I will be back.

Years ago when China Garden opened everything was great. Slowly food quality became less along with cleanliness of restaurant, so family and friends quit going. Just recently we passed by the restaurant and saw many vehicles in parking lot and decided to try eating. Surprisingly we were quite impressed by many changes and all good. Examples include water fountain working along with real fish, clean facility and best of all the tasty variety of food!!!! We will be telling family and friends to attend this buffet because we highly recommend.

Easily the highest quality Chinese food in the area. The best and most flavor. The other restaurants in Brainerd/Bemidji are of horrible quality. Definitely ordering off the menu is the way to go if the buffet is quiet. Obviously going at the right time for buffet freshness applies for every buffet.

Food was bad. Tasted like it had been cooked days before and stored in the refrigerator. The hot and sour soup was the worst I’ve ever tasted. I have a feeling this place stays open only because no one wants to drive to Brainerd for Chinese food. Next time I will make the drive.

This restaurant is easily and without question the dirtiest place I’ve ever been in. Everything is sticky and the food is very clearly old. Most of it is burnt and stale from being re-heated over and over again. The establishment itself is absolutely filthy. I don’t know how anyone can stand to eat here. I genuinely don’t know how the health food dept hasn’t stepped in and shut it down. Nasty, nasty, nasty.
