Don’t waste your money. This is the most pathetic Chinese takeout I’ve had in a long time, and I am a Chinese takeout connoisseur. Go for Chinese Wok in Montgomery on Douglas. Reasonable prices, didn’t skyrocket like some of the other places around here, and they have the best food in the area. Didn’t even include steamed rice with our order!

This place is going downhill fast. Last time I was there the heat innthe building wasn’t even working. Check out girls had winter coats on. They said heat was off for weeks. If they can’t even heat the building imagine how the kitchen. Must look. I imagine not very sanitary

Have been ordering here for years. The food was always delivered hot and tasty. Always had a choice of rice and always came with egg rolls. This time no choices, no egg rolls and cold. But there were lots of delivery and convenience fees charged. Bringing 2 cold, flavorless and inadequate meals to a whopping $40. I will be taking a hard pass on china garden in the future. It was wonderful while it lasted.

Went in tonight at 9 with 4 of my friends and 1 of them didn’t order. The people were so nice and gave us free waters and were being extremely friendly. Food was amazing aswell !

The food tastes good, butbits honesty the same as any other Chinese restaurant. I won’t be going back though because they upcharged me because I wanted my rice the way I wanted it. Well, its a restaurant, they should cook it how you want it right? NOPE! they charge you extra if they have to cook your rice. I’ve never heard of a place charging extra because they have to cook it. I’ll never go back.

We have been coming to China Garden for several years and until now have really not had problems. Ordered 2 orange chicken dinner specials that are supposed to come with fried rice and egg rolls. Ordered online which we rarely do but put in for delivery driver’s tip of $5.00. Checked no for texts but still got them. Surprise! They are now using Door Dash which I really hate – I know several people who have had their cards hacked on Door Dash. Subtotal was $25. By the time they started adding on tip, convenience charge and delivery charge the bill was almost $40! Oh yes, I started getting texts! Food arrived on time, 45 minutes after ordering which is much longer than usual. If I could photograph cold I would send a photo of our cold food that was not good and did not contain the 2 egg rolls nor did it have fried rice it did have white rice. The cold food was really quite greasy. They have lost me. I’m going to go across the street from now on.
