I feel this place could be a lot better. I called to place an order. The phone wasn’t answered in professional way. The way she answered, I had to take a double look to make sure I called a business. I asked for Two Orange Chickens, One with Fried Rice, and the other with Steamed Rice. She didn’t ask for a name nor provided a price. She just said “20 minutes” and hung up… Once I got there… $35.35, including tax. That’s $17.675 per plate. Definitely not worth it. Barely had any flavor. Certainly a cheaper chicken with a marked up price. I don’t recommend.

I have been to China and this was some of the best Chinese food I’ve found in the States. You wouldn’t think you’d find a hidden gem like this in a ski town in Montana but it was such a pleasant surprise! The food is truly amazing and the staff is so kind. They are very efficient and hospitable. Great portions and fair pricing, especially given the quality of the food. Wow. 10/10 would recommend!!

It was our anniversary. We were craving Chinese and China Garden recently reopened. We decided to eat here. It was about 5 pm. The place was dark, and felt like we were walking into a messy garage. We’d hoped to eat there. Decided not to. My wife had vegetable lomein and I had house lomein (shrimp, beef, chicken). Veg lomein had celery, onion 2pcs of squash. Mine had shrimp that was so over cooked that it was chalky. Egg rolls had very little of anything. It was hard to tell. Hot sour soup was almost adequate. I hate to leave bad reviews. I also hate to spend money on food that shouldn’t be served to the public! It doesn’t take much to make decent food. Especially if you want to have return customers. Very disappointed.

I had sweet and sour chicken lunch special. The flavor was very palatable, but at a hefty price. No indoor seating, your meal comes in a Styrofoam as does your piping hot tea. 3 stars were given due to quality of chicken (very thin bread strips) and the value for price.

Waited 15 minutes to even get to order then once we did she said my card was declined so I called my bank and there’s no attempt showing so I had her run chip and it worked fine, same issue happened with the people I was with so something was wrong with the reader. After all that the food took an hour to come out… and while we were waiting we weren’t allowed to use the bathroom there. Apparently it’s just 1 lady taking orders AND making the food. Even worse the food was $45 for 2 people! You can’t have a restaurant in the middle of red lodge run by 1 person. Will never go again no matter how good the food is.

I eat a lot of oriental food and this restaurant is one of the best. Had the Moo Goo Gai Pan once and the Mongolian chicken another time. Both were fresh tasting and tasty. The hot and sour soup is awesome.

Food was decent however I went to the restroom and there was watered down soap it didn’t even feel like there was soap. This is a major health violation. Employees cooking must wash hands after using the restroom but how can they if there is no valid soap. Portions were small and the price didn’t quite justify the amount of food we got. I don’t need to go back.
