We’ve been enjoying the excellent cuisine of China House since their early days. Under new ownership recently but pretty much unchanged otherwise. My only complaint is some of the waitstaff can be quite unfriendly. There is a negative energy in the air.

I will never buy from here again. I called to tell the shrimp was stinky and disgusting it’s like they used old shrimp in the chow fun and the lady was rude and said the shrimp was only a day old. She then hung up on me. I called again and they refused to pick up. I threw away the food. Never go there! They just lost out on a long time customer who always tipped well even the order was always picked up. Also the quantity of shrimp on a shrimp chow fun that they charged me extra for was 3. Three disgusting nasty stinky shrimps! DO NOT RECOMMEND IT.

Worst customer service ever!!! The entire staff were rude. The hostess seemed as though she didn’t want to be there. There are a ton of better restaurants to enjoy in Half Moon Bay. Don’t waste your time here.

Surprised at the reviews. The lady (owner) is rude. She seems to be the most unhappy just to have to talk to a customer. If a customer is willing to pay more for extra ingredients, why not? The worst fried rice ever. there is nothing in it except measly carrots & eggs. This place is not Chef Chu Los Altos. There is no comparison. Never again.
