Great food great service the staff is very helpful I’m understanding I don’t eat pork so they made sure I don’t get any and honestly this the first Chinese restaurant that serve ice cream with the check, what’s better than that , perfect ending

My partner and I love this place. Staff is always welcoming and we love their potstickers! They make them in house and they are great. Awesome family business that’s been around forever. I’ve never been disappointed and this is one of our go to places. Like to be able to sit above the street and look down and people watch.

This place is amazing. A hidden gem that has been there for 50 years. The decor is really beautiful!!!! Very old school Chinese decor and all in gorgeous condition. The food was excellent and the service superb. Our waitress was very attentive and willing to make changes to any dishes to accommodate our needs. I was disheartened that we were the only one in this restaurant on a Saturday night at 8:00!! Perhaps it was the construction on the outside of the building. ..but in any case, I hope their business dramatically improves or they won’t survive. So if you’re reading this, please go! One small criticism. The restroom was dirty. The rest of the place is on nice, I would like to see clean restrooms as well. And one decorator tip, black lacquer chairs with red vinyl seats would be a big improvement in the environment.

So yummy. I’ve had chicken dishes , vegetable entrees and appetizers here and they’ve all been delicious. They do not disappoint. On top of great food, the service is top notch and dining room is very open and bright. Highly recommended.

I don’t like a lot of Chinese restaurants. I find them overly greasy, and the grease tastes old at that. But this place is nothing like the cheap same-o same-o places. Great taste with quality ingredients. The restaurant itself is a nice place to sit with friends, sip tea, and look out over Park St.

This place just holds a special place in our hearts. We always get a window seat and just enjoy the food and experience so much… that often, family birthdays and gatherings land us at China House. The service is always pleasant and the charm of this restaurant has our hearts. ❤️

I read mixed reviews and was thus a bit skeptical eating at this place, but work a block away at the Hearing Zone so had to try it out.

A lovely, hidden, upstairs restaurant, that takes you back to a mythical 1960’s/70s vibe of “authentic” Chinese/American cuisine. Which is to say, probably authentic at all, but really tasty! The Sizzling rice soup is a standout, and it’s all pretty good. The nostalgic decor and the view of Park Street from the windows make it worth a visit alone.

Good potstickers…my server was really good. The atmosphere was totally (wet)…high ceilings cool decor, views out the second story window. Asian music..yes!!! No stupid top forty pop!
