They make there own cocktail sauce. Tastes bad. Attentive to refilling drinks and removing empty plates. They ring bells and yell to kitchen what items are needed on buffet.

Hey look… it’s a Chinese buffet. What can I say about it? It doesn’t matter where you are in the United States these places are all pretty much the same. They are very good about keeping the food fresh and keeping a good supply and selection. They do have sushi which for me is pretty much the only thing I eat when I go there. But they have their traditional Chinese buffet with the full salad bar, pastry bar with ice cream… Etc. I’ve been here at least a dozen times and never left disappointed or hungry.

I haven’t eaten at China King in 2 years, so we went to have lunch and I remembered how the food used to be good but this time the only stuff that was fresh coming out of the kitchen it seemed to be was the chicken because it seemed to be what people liked the most. The buffet isn’t big, which I understand that a lot of restaurants took a hit after covid, but if they are going to have the food they do in the buffet,at least put fresh fruit every 3 days and fresh pastries every 3 days too because none of that was fresh when my daughter got some. I will just continue to eat at Smileys in Alamogordo even if I have to wait 3 to 4 or longer just to get Chinese food. It’s worth the wait

I should have known when I read the sign on the door that said “please don’t waste food to keep prices down ” … Well I picked thru carefully so I thought and soup no flavor rice and noodles old and entree just edible. I left my less then half eaten plate and picked some salad and fresh vegetables so I wouldn’t feel ROBBED FOR $19 FOR ONE PERSON.
