Food was really quite wonderful. A nice thick curry sauce. Steamed rice seemed a bit dry. Probably rushed at the end of the night. Lady at the counter seemed done with the day. Tired even. But they made an effort to make a great meal in the late hours so kudos! A fine take out China Kitchen.

Flaming appetizer on a lazy susan. Fancy serving bowl for the fried rice. The owner as the waitress. The food is pretty darn good too. If you are in the area or passing by Erwin on Interstate 26 it is definitely worth a visit!

One of our sons invited us out to lunch, and we caught China Kitchen when it was open. They are located next to Dollar Tree in Erwin. They’re open for lunch and dinner, but close from 2:30 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. between the lunch and dinner meal times.

We waited for 15 minutes at the counter before being seated. A couple came in behind us about 10 minutes after us. We were both seated at the same time, but they waited on the other couple first – we just got up and left – seems there was only one person waiting on tables, serving, and appeared as the cook too.

I love Chinese food. I’ve eaten Chinese all up and down the east coast. I was told of this place a number of years age and decided to give it a try. I had nothing to loose. Went in and sat down. Placed my order. My egg drop soup was served to me and with the first taste I was sold. It was the best soup I’d ever eaten. Next the main course. That was shrimp egg foo young with an egg roll. Oh my what a meal. Now I will go no where else for my Chinese food. The service is wonderful and very friendly. I wont go any where else.

This is one of my favorite places to eat in Erwin. I like the atmosphere here and the food is really good. The prices are a little high but to me are worth it! The staff is always friendly and helpful. They also have a Sunday buffet that is well priced and kept freshly stocked 90% of the time, if you go after the church rush the change out of the food slows down a little bit but not unacceptably.

Not the best, food was ok. I had the Carb Rangoon’s they were good but very greasy. The building is old and very strong musk smelling. Price’s are insane 3 kids plates and 2 adults was almost $60, which would be fine if the quality of the food had been excellent. I really don’t think the menu prices are right cause you end up paying more, and they staff doesn’t speak very good english it’s mostly having to point at the menu and hope you get what you wanted.
