China Luck IS NOT CLOSED…. They are Open for carry out orders. Anyway the food was amazing and is the best location to order from. I’m glad I lucked up on them. Also when you if you don’t get an answer someone will definitely call you back.

The owners are genuinely nice but this will be my 3rd and last visit. I ordered 2 entrees, a soup for 2 and an appetizer assortment. On both entrees the beef and chicken pieces were rubbery. ALL of the appetizer pieces that had been fried tasted rancid. No doubt they are trying to control costs by not changing the fryer grease. On a positive note, the soup was very good just sparse on ingredients. Sorry but this does not warrant a higher rating and is in line with previous visits.

My family has been eating here for as long as I can remember. This is our go-to place when we want to splurge, the food is absolutely excellent and better than any Chinese restaurant nearby. The egg rolls, soups (egg drop + hot and sour), and pot stickers are regular things we order that are always good. The honey chicken, garlic chicken, and sesame chicken is always tender and a little crispy on the outside when breaded. I can’t comment on any of the spicy-hot dishes because we haven’t ordered any, it’s just not our thing. If you haven’t been and you’re local, please consider ordering from them. They care about serving quality food and you can taste it. They’re family-owned and friendly towards customers, and as a little girl Mrs. Jessica would give me suckers every time we came in. Mr. Lee can be a little hard to understand sometimes but nice, and he understands what *you* say so we’ve rarely had an order be wrong. They don’t skimp, either, so you’ll have leftovers to microwave. I’ll be so sad when/if they decide to retire, it’s great people serving great food.

Big complex delicious flavors in everything. No bottled sauces here. I have never had a bland dish. Even the white sauces and egg drop soup have lots of flavor. Excellent friendly service. Buffet on sundays at lunch. See you there!

I have been a customer of China Luck for almost 10 years. This is a mom and pop style Chinese restaurant that has been feeding my kids and I since they were born and the food has been consistent for all ten years. Not the best in Alabama, but certainly not the worst by any means. Done in or take out, you can expect large portioned entrees that are very filling and service that reflects that they care about their local community. Would recommend for anyone who wants a good meal.
