This was the best I’ve had out of anywhere in USA. I’m still shocked with the quality of this restaurant.. Wichita knows it’s Chinese food. The Cocunt Chicken w/Lo Mein and General Taos Chicken with chicken fried rice was amazing. The Crab Rangoons were extremely delicious.. I’ve never had them made this way.

The food was extremely disappointing. Moving from Houston to Wichita recently, my family knows good Chinese food. China One is not that. The fried rice was nothing more than white rice steamed with onions and chicken broth with some chicken added into the mix… really? The Kung Pao chicken was something like General Tao’s chicken with bell peppers, celery and carrot in an unspectacular sauce of some sort. The hot and sour soup was actually good. Unfortunately, the wonton soup could not carry that flag. The broth was good, but the wontons were, let’s say… unusual and odd tasting. In to plus column, the spring rolls were good. In general, I would not recommend China One if your expectation is to have delicious Chinese American food. If your tastes are not so particular, then have at it and good luck.

I am new to Wichita so I have a new phone number, but I believe someone used my number before me and apparently they didn’t pick up an order sometime back, so I got bullied every time I called, where the owner/whoever answers calls was very rude. Their food is good but their customer service sucks. My friend also found hair in his chicken fried rice

I used to love this place. The quality of food has definitely gone down hill. I’ve ordered delivery a few times from them recent and there has been something wrong each time. Plus when you order sweet and sour chicken, you expect a large side of sweet and sour sauce right? Nope. You have to specifically ask for it. And don’t forget to tell them a LARGE side or they will send you a tiny little dip cup for an entire order of chicken. So annoying.

We ordered just a few appetizers as a late night snack and unfortunately the delivery person delivered it to the wrong house so we ended up waiting quite a while for our food. The restaurant called us owning up to the mistake and apologizing and gave us a free soda with our order. I really appreciated the gesture and the apology and the food was wonderful so definitely a pleasant experience ordering in!
