Reliable spot in the Monroeville area with friendly and personable staff every time. We always order for 3 and we are always hungry and order almost 100 bucks in food every time. Egg rolls good. Egg drop soup is good. I don’t care for the fried rice for some reason to me there is an aftertaste of something that my palette does not like – maybe the oil it is cooked in even though my family is okay with it. For that reason I usually stick with steamed rice. Daughter likes the Lo Mein with vegetables. For the beef with vegetables we would have liked to have seen see more beef than onions and vegetables. General TSOs is our go to. Comfort food for Friday night. China Palace always does the job to curb our quick hunger fix.

China Palace has been our go-to Chinese restaurant for decades. My grandmother is 100 years old and loves this place like no other. Food is tasty and the owners and staff treat you like family. Thank you for making our visits throughout the years both special and memorable!

A bit “old school” in its look, China Palace has traditional dishes as well as a nice sampling of Thai food. Their cold sesame noodles are some of the best available in the region. The luncheon specials are real bargains, with a choice of a full size egg roll or soup and either fried or steamed rice. Parking is ample.

What China Palace used to have was somehow lost along the way. On my recent visit to the newly opened dining room there was just so much missing. Idk. What it is? Maybe being closed for dine in for so long and I don’t order take out gave me time to acquire different tastes I got used to at other Chinese Restaurants. I hope this is just some rust showing from the years of the dining room being closed. Idk. But I was disappointed it fell so short of past visits. Good luck to you getting it going again.

I have been coming here for years! Everything has always been top notch, from the food to the service. The owner has been extremely friendly along with the staff. This is my favorite place for Chinese food. I think the prices are fair based on the quality, quantity and service. No complaints at all!

The restaurant was small but nice. They don’t have egg foo young & that’s what I really wanted. I ended up getting sweet & sour chicken – it was ok.

I like spicy dishes. This place made a very tasty chicken with curry sauce (level 9 spice). Chicken was tender, veggies were fresh, gravy was not swamping the food, and the spice was perfect. I was really happy with it.

No dine-in, carry-out only. Order was taken by phone, very friendly, and the order was ready when promised. Fried dumplings were good… nice bite to the dumpling dough, but I wasn’t sure which protein was used for the filling. The dining sauce was good. As for the chicken lo mein, I ordered it without mushrooms. But was disappointed that there were few other vegetables when I ate it. Slight trace of bean sprouts and even less cabbage. No green onion, white onion, carrots, celery, or anything else.

My second time going, I am visiting from out of town and wanted Chinese food they did not disappoint. I really don’t like brown sauce on my mix vegetable and shrimp I forgot to mention it, but it turned out to be delicious, but the shrimp chow mein and the Wonton soup delicious, my new go to for Pittsburgh. See you all soon
