Stopped by for a dine in lunch. Ordered the moo goo gai pan (chicken with mushroom) lunch special, which comes with veggie fried rice. The food was tasty, and the price was decent. They do have lunch buffet (as of Oct 2022, the price is $9.99 for adult buffet) but the buffet is only open 11-2:30 p.m. Quick service and overall a decent experience.

The place has plastic and plexiglass all along the front counter for contact less service. They were still under self-imposed lockdown from the appearance of the restaurant. The food was fine, there really wasn’t any service to speak of, it’s a buffet. Typical Chinese restaurant fare. It was a very average restaurant with decent food. Just don’t expect any service.

After discussing with the lady about the spiciest dish, I ordered szechuan tofu and got a sweet horrid concoction. I asked for lots of sichuan peppercorns…..there was not one! No chilis, no peppercorns….weirdest dish ever. One bite and it went into the garbage bin.

First Service
Wow. That was truly awful. Food was all very old at 1pm. There is no service, even table bussing, yet they still want a tip. This place was acceptable pre-covid, but probably the worst dump around now. At 1pm, there was one other table occupied.

Was looking for a good Chinese spot near downtown Raleigh and found this place on Yelp. I haven’t had a Singapore Chow Mei Fun quite this good before! Added a little bit of their chili oil for some extra spice and it was phenomenal. Definitely get your money’s worth when it comes to portions here. And the egg roll was perfectly crispy that came with it. Really glad I stumbled upon this place and look forward to going back soon. Thanks China Queen!
