Checking in and out is a drag. Lady is always not happy. She was rude on three different occasions. This was my favorite spot. I cant eat from people not happy to see a repeat costumer with those prices. The food is the best in the area though I feel.(8 out of 10 stars) But they are missing the most important ingredient LOVE.The rudeness is subtle but ruins the taste and trust for me.

Great place for Chinese Takeout, being only couple minutes away from KOP mall, they take credit cards(Even Amex and discover) as soon as it’s over 8$, otherwise there would be a 50¢surcharge.

Over charged me. Didn’t let me know the lunch special it was my first time there. The woman acted like she was annoyed with me.

I’m struggling to understand how this place rates over four stars. The hot and sour soup, my litmus test for a Chinese restaurant’s ability to make flavorful food, was mostly just sour and uninteresting. My main dish lacked flavor and the fried wontons that came with my soup, as well as the egg roll, tasted of deep fry oil that was in sore need of being changed.

I ordered from here and I got the smallest wings with pieces missing. When I called to tell them about this, they said it was fine and would make me a new order. I made my dad go out of his way to take me to pick up the order and then they were charging me for it. This isn’t fair because I only got half of my food in the first order and both of the people there were extremely rude and giving us horrible looks.

The food was fresh, everything was hot! Sesame chicken, general tso’s chicken, and sweet and sour chicken were delicious and not fatty. Orange chicken was above what we expected. Fried rice and egg rolls weren’t greasy!! Prices for the amount and quality were definitely worth what we paid. Beef with broccoli was a tad fatty but everything else was amazing. Thank you China Star, will definitely be coming back!

Was hoping for a new Chinese place that’s close by so I gave them a chance. I ordered the General Tso chicken. The chicken itself was very fatty/bready, not a lot of actual protein, the sauce seemed like it was taken out of a can, heated up and tossed with the chicken (not actually put together one ingredient at a time). The rice was okay, not horrible. Delivery is very convenient. It came with a free Coke, which was nice, but if I knew I would’ve picked something else (I don’t drink Coke). I think they have a lot of potential. The staff was pleasant enough on the phone and delivery. But it fell totally through for me this time with the food. I’m on the fence about giving them another chance because I typically order the same thing or similar. I guess I’ll just keep ordering from my usual place even though I have to drive a few minutes.
