I love this place. My family and I have gone here for years. I have had catering, take-out, dine-in, and even door dash from this place since 2018! They have the same cook every time, so the food is always consistent and super flavorful. Not to mention, the restaurant is extremely clean. I have yet to find anywhere else as clean as this place. To my family and me, cleanliness is a top priority, so we are glad to have found this gem! I will admit that I have seen price changes, but with the recent spike in inflation, it’s to be expected. Like please name one place that has not had a price increase. In my opinion, I will always rather spend my money at any place that has the quality and is worth the price. We were in the mood for Chinese food, but the options close to home aren’t too our liking, so we searched farther and found China Star. The food (honey garlic chicken and chicken with cashew nuts) was exactly what we were looking for. The price was reasonable. I had read about the 4% surcharge on credit card orders so I was prepared for it. I didn’t see it posted anywhere by the register or on the menu, which it should be. Frankly, the prices are so reasonable, they could just add it to the price of food and no one would know they were paying the surcharge.

Food was plentiful. Ordered some changes and order was completed as ordered. Great flavor to food. Jumbo shrimp in my order. This is the large shrimp with Chinese vegetables for $10.95. Comes with white rice. Also ordered an egg roll and a large egg drop wonton soup. All very good. Under $20!! Will last me 2 or 3 meals on the main dish and soup.

This is the Chinese spot you should try if you’re looking for a good one. I’ve ordered several times in the past few weeks and the food has consistently been good. Their egg rolls are amazing. They put some kind of seasoning on the cabbage that makes it pop with flavor. I’ve never tasted an egg roll like that. Their egg rolls don’t compare to the others around. This place is worth a try. And try their egg rolls.

I should’ve known to cancel my order when i walked in & smelled their sewer, along with the price i was quoted ($55 for 3 combos & 1 side.) I tried this place for the first time yesterday & that’ll be my last. The shrimp lo mein was dry & very bland. I’ve never had dry lo mein before & my mother couldn’t even finish hers after 2 tries. The sesame chicken was ok but they were skimpy with it. The best thing about my meal was the egg roll & that let’s you know this place is horrible. I had to repeat my order 10x on the phone & when I got there I had to go over it twice again. For now on I’ll just continue to drive 20min to a much better chinese restaurant. I only came here because I wanted to find a closer chinese spot & because of the reviews. Based on the positive reviews, they’ve obviously never had good Chinese food before or eat anything if you continously waste money coming to this over priced place & like their bland food!

By far, the worst dining experience I’ve had in a long time. I asked for a plate, they said they didn’t have any. So, I asked for a to-go box instead – they wanted to charge me $1. I said that was ridiculous – another customer then chimed in and said they charged her .80 cents for a cup. I know times are tough, but for a restaurant not to provide a plate or a cup for free is about as cheap as you can get and horrible customer service. Also, they had a young boy working the front counter, taking orders and running the cash register. He was well below the legal age to be employed, even in a family restaurant. I walked out disgusted and reluctantly ate my meal. It was mediocre at best. I would never eat here again.
