The best Chinese food that I’ve ever had. The portions are large. If you want great tasting Chinese food, China Star is the place. Plenty of parking in the Kroger’s plaza at Sterns and Secor.

got the almond chicken was a lot of food for the price but not much chicken with the batter I like almond chicken cut in big strips so you can peel some of the batter and just eat the chicken can’t do that with almond chicken

Have eaten here a few times over the years. Each of the last two weeks I ordered Mongolian Beef to go and it was delicious. I asked for the meat to be cooked well done and it was perfect. The portions are big, I get dinner and lunch the next day from one meal.

Extremely disappointed. I ordered Tai Chien Chicken…. what I received was more like sweet and sour chicken. I have had this dish at other places and never the sauce that was used here. I arrived within 15 minutes as requested and when I got the dish home I had to warm it in the microwave. First time at China Star,,,, doubtful if I would return

Food is always VERY GOOD and HOT, along with being reasonably priced….The previous husband and wife team that ran the place for years have moved on. There is now a new husband and wife team that runs the establishment. It took them a month or two to find their direction, but now, I personally find that the food is THE BEST THAT HAS EVER BEEN SERVED there. These two kind, hard-working people, put their ALL into offering and preparing some of THE BEST Chinese food around. If you haven’t given them a try lately, you are missing out!
