I am so impressed by this place. I grew up near Boston and anyone from the northeast will tell you the Chinese up there is infinitely better than anything we have in Savannah. This meal I just ate, my god it was good. I would stack it against any Chinese restaurant in New England or NYC. I ordered the general Tao chicken and Bowl Bowl platter and seriously, every single part of this meal was fantastic! I am so thankful that I decided to give this place a shot. If you haven’t been here, go tonight, go right now, just stop what your doing, get in the car, and place your order. You will not be disappointed. Thank you China Taste for the excellent food!

The business is family owned, and they treat our family like their own every time we come in. The food is always good, and never disappoints anyone. Stopped here for a quick bite to eat as we’re passing thru on our way to Florida and I ordered the chicken and broccoli combination platter and lets just say what I received was the BROCCOLI AND RICE combination. As you can see from the picture I have MOSTLY broccoli and rice. It was only 3 pieces of chicken in the combination. If I wanted a vegetarian meal I would’ve ordered that. Only 1 positive. The egg roll was good. Out of towners be cautious.

Another year later. Food has really gone downhill in taste and quality. Used to think this place served GOOD Chinese food; so what has happened? New Cook? New owner? Using cheaper ingredients? Just not seasoned as good as used to be. Egg rolls tasted rancid. Also more importantly the public area is filthy! Makes me wonder if the kitchen is clean.

By far one of my favorite takeout Chinese places in Savannah!! Every time I order here the food is always fresh and super tasty. I’ve ordered quite a bit of different things from their menu and every one of their items that I’ve tried never disappoints. If I was ever dissatisfied with anything it was because I just didn’t like that particular type of dish. Like for example my husband got sweet and sour chicken, loved it but I didn’t just because I’m not a fan of sweet and sour chicken. As long as I live in Savannah I will keep coming back to China taste!
