After living in Shanghai for years and coming home to the Bay Area – I’ve been missing these flavors. Up there with Great China – this gets my vote for the best in the East Bay.

Nice environment and service. Not that authentic in some sense but still tasty. The menu is large so it can be a hit or miss when ordering…My favorite so far are the beef stew noodles and tea tree duck

For 4 people the check was $120 for soup, 2 appetizer, 2 Dim Sum, soup, 2 mains and a side. There was a generous amount of food,. Green onion pancakes and chive turnovers were both wonderful, we enjoyed the fish and tofu dish. The staff was friendly and attentive.

I was surprised how delicious and fresh the food was. Pea shoots with garlic and sesame prawns were YUM! onion pancake was perfect. Lovely service

Food was right below average to me. Pretty pricy. Service sucked. Really loud. Beautiful inside. Rundown or old looking for outside. Host was friendly. No one else smiled or had etiquette or courtesy. Server forgot beer, no apologies. Servers & busers all seemed unhappy. I’ve only been here twice. I honestly don’t really like the crab either since I’m comparing it to other places. When it’s slow you’ll probably get better service, that’s what happened the first time. Oh, another plus was we were in & out of there’s pretty fast. You really don’t want to stay longer unless you like frantic, loud crowds of people that are all over the place. I wouldn’t plan on coming here again.

The very best! I crave their pork shoulder, And eat here at least once a month. Bernie Sanders also ate here on his East Bay campaign swing. It’s all so good and authentic! Garlic eggplant and walnut prawns my favs.

Total dissappointment. Dungeness crab was dry and attached to its shell, seems like frozen crab. Sauce was good like it used to be. HOWEVER the portion has been decreased significantly. On top of their poor food This place Will charge you tip twice, 18% service charge on the bill(AS IF it was normal food cost) and they had such AUDACITY to ask additional tip after the checkout. I used to love this place but seems like either their owner has been changed or they have lost their mind. I won’t go back ever again.

Complimentary pickled cabbage & tea. Excellent. Servers were helpful but not intrusive. Authentic Chinese cuisine. Everything was DELICIOUS. Not greasy or over seasoned. Perfect.

Had the lemon chicken, Mongolian beef, sesame chicken and vegetable fried rice, all tasted great and was served by a friendly staff who were nice enough to take photos of our family dinner. The portions are appropriate for the cost, one plate for around 2-3 people.

It is 8:53 and they say they are closed whenit says they close at 9:30, a couple were told that the kitchen is closed, I came here at 8:10 pm and that same guy told me the kitchen was having problems and he couldn’t serve me ( the guy with the glasses) another server (Danny) came and told me he could help us and he got us a table. So Sad that I use to come here when I was young with all my family, I didn’t enjoy my dinner and the service was a the worse ever!
