Formally, the China Wok in the Kmart super center, now relocted on exit 19 next to the Walmart supercenter. Seeing this building from the road gives the illusion that this place is huge. Upon entering, payment is required before sitting, and your drinks are self-serve, which was a little different. Bar was on the smaller side, but the food was really good. At the time of visiting, the atmosphere seemed very chaotic and cramped. Maybe it was just working out the kinks of a new location,but as of right now, it’s not horrible, but I’ve had better.

This place is pretty pricey for a Chinese buffet in abingdon. Expect to pay about 17 bucks per person. What do you get for your money? Great food? tons of items? Romantic or an exclusive atmosphere that whisks you away to the orient? Nope nope and nope! The food was cold leathery and stale. The buffet only had a few choices and the atmosphere and seating arrangement was hospital cafeteria. Please don’t make the mistake we made and just go elsewhere. Lots of better places to spend your hard earned money. Places like McDonald’s! OH and when you pay they try getting a 20 percent tip from you before you’ve even eaten!

Glad they have reopened after COVID in a new location. Although the price (about $13) has gone up the food is still really good and the selection seems better. In my opinion this is one of Abingdon’s more popular restaurants. Most of the time it is filled with a mixture of people from all walks of life.

this place is horribly over priced for what it is. Chinese buffets, where I am from include a fresh hibachi grill and fresh made sushi bar for the same price with much larger selection on the hot tables as well. The lo mein was horribly overcooked. One of my favorites at a Chinese Buffet could not eat three bites of it. it was mushy. It was so over cooked. The service was pretty good $49 for two adults and a six year old and the two adults drank water.

Large buffet. Great selection of sushi with sauces on the side. There was the typical Chinese food buffet items, but they also had salmon filet. The staff wasn’t the greatest at clearing plates or drink refills, but overall service was good. The sushi wasn’t replenished while I was there. They should keep a closer eye on that. The hot items were refilled quickly. Hit and sour soup and wonton soup were good. Breading was very heavy on any of those items. Black pepper chicken isn’t breaded and was delicious. The pepper steak was also very good. Green Beans were also well seasoned and not greasy. Would definitely eat here again.

Food was good and the staff was friendly. I don’t understand all the bad reviews, people are to critical. It’s a buffet for goodness sake, not a five star restaurant, of course it’s going to be hit or miss depending on what time you go that’s to be expected with buffets. But the food was good enough for me to leave a good review and to definitely go back!
