2 stars for speed and accuracy of the order, but nothing special. Fried rice was literally plain with no veggies. I decided to try something nearby, but next time will drive further and spend a little more to receive what is worth the price. The lunch special was double the price for half the amount of what I would’ve received if I had gone to Irmo.

Called over the phone to request 200 chicken wings at 11:00AM to have ready by 12:30ish the manager of the establishment said “no order over phone due to customer lie before about chicken wing” I’m not from Chapin so I understood and came inside to make the purchase instead. When inside the boy ran my card for 180.00 on 2 separate instances and said they declined but still gave me a receipt to sign. I then requested the manager to come help out she said it declined I can show receipts, then I asked well okay if it declined then what am I signing a receipt of purchase for. She then tells me I’m sorry I won’t charge you for the wings since your bank shows you paid 2 times.

My family got food poisoning. It started with my 4 year old. She kept complaining of a tummy ache and eventually developed diarrhea and nausea. She threw up once but at the time, we assumed she had a tummy bug. However, later, I developed the same symptoms. I was awakened by sharp stomach pains in my sleep and dealt with an uneasy feeling in my stomach the following day. It didn’t dawn on me that these symptoms came from the restaurant’s food until what happened after I ate the leftovers. This time, in addition to my stomach pain, I neeeded to vomit—a lot. This has been the worst experience and though I observed the restaurant wasn’t as clean as I would’ve liked, it’s the only Chinese food establishment on my side of town. I wanted to support a local, family owned establishment… Moving forward, we will never eat here again.

I don’t understand why somebody would have a nice restaurant but you feel like you’re walking into the origins of COVID everyone is simply miserable no smiles no interaction no nothing… And for the life of me why would they open a restaurant and not want to be in the restaurant business? Restaurant impossible could not even turn this place around.. You walk in plexiglass everywhere and you’re not allowed to eat in even though they have 25 booths You have to take your food with you.. unfortunately it’s the only game in town so you have to drive 15 miles to actually go to a real Chinese restaurant

I don’t have an issue with the food at this place, BUT one of the Chinese ladies who answers the phone when you call in is VERY RUDE. She has a very thick accent and if you ask her to repeat something, or you don’t understand something she says, she gets flustered. There is no excuse to treat customers like this if you want them to keep coming back. She needs to learn some tact and better manners. Most of the people who call in to order are local people who don’t speak Chinese. Please be patient lady!!!

I occasionally get the sweet-and-sour chicken combination with chicken fried rice through the drive-through and I just want to commend this restaurant for always having the order done quickly and the food is always fresh and delicious and very reasonably priced. I have never had a bad meal or experience with them.

No vehicle in parking lot upon entering the store no one was there to welcome me nor ask for my order. A woman finally did come to the front and quickly demanded my order. Did not order much just the Crab Rangoons (which came with no dipping sauce) and Shrimp Fried Rice. She acted as if killed her that I was in there. And added more steam to the fire when I asked for sauce and chopsticks. Thankfully it was a to go order and took longer than expected. Once I got to my eating place, I think that I knew why! Everything was way way over cooked! The Rangoons were hard like rocks and the fried rice was so very dry! Only the onions and shrimp had somewhat moisture! It may be quite a bit of time before checking this place out again!

We order from them from time to time but this was the WORST! Ordered sweet & sour chicken-the chicken HAD to be days old and refried and refried. The beef low mein was SUPER greasy and the eggs rolls seems old too. Not happy!
