Food was fresh and had great flavor. Very clean restaurant. Service was excellent. Had Lo Mein, orange chicken, fried rice, egg roll and pot stickers all of which were great. Only downside was I ordered egg foo young and they were out. Ordered lemon chicken and they were out of that too. Maybe put a sign up so people know what you’re out of.

This was our first visit to Chinese Chef. The restaurant looked and smelled clean. There is a buffet area, but it only housed fortune cookies. The MooGoo was good, but was a play on twos. 2 shrimp, 2 strips of beef, 2 of chicken, the rest were vegetables. The cashew chicken was different than we’re used to, but flavorful. The only real complaint, apart from the portion size, was the rice. Cold and undercooked.

It’s a clean restaurant, friendly service, and really good food. We enjoyed the Kung Pao chicken, the beef broccoli, orange chicken, and a side of noodles. The meals come with egg rolls and fried rice. Pictures forthcoming.

I’ve gotten take out several times here and since the first time about a year ago, I don’t get my Chinese food take out from anywhere else! Tonight (6/29/23) I’m having their pork fried rice, large order, with 2x extra pork. It is good each and every time. I can bring it home and add a salad or my own steamed vegetables so to have a nice balanced meal. I’m a widow and retired. I live alone. This place is my favorite takeout Chinese.

Best Chinese food I found in Springfield. I visited several times. Portions are decent and they serve a good balance of vegetables, protein, and starches on the plate. Also, not too heavy on the sauce like the other places I tried

What a great and friendly place. The hostess/server was amazingly upbeat and kind. The food is so great we are literally counting days until we go back. Very reasonably priced and so beautiful outside in garden. Thank you for being so great.

Their food was good, but the prices were high for the food you got. You couldn’t make any substitutions and the drink cup the give you is small plastic with lid. Not sure if you’re aloud refills, but we snuck up and got them anyway.
