Used to be the go-to in Eastman, cause it was really the only place with variety, but the new owners are really just buying whatever cheap and throwing it in store-bought sauce. Sure it’s not all bad, but definitely rather Mai’s over this restaurant.

This place is scrumptious! Consistently delicious, which is very hard to find with a buffet..or really any place this day in time. Each time we go the food is always hot, fresh, and we are greeted with smiling faces.

Cedar Hollow Homestead (Two Maker Chicks)
There’s a wide variety of delicious, hot food on the buffet regardless of what time you go. My daughter loves the butterfly shrimp and bacon wrapped crab. My favorite are the cheese rolls, bacon wrapped crab and the wontons.

Used to be amazing but now after having new owners it’s a lot different. If you haven’t ate there for a while be aware most items served are similar but all are slightly different. Personally some of the things I like better, but some dishes like the sesame chicken which was by far the best sesame chicken anywhere is mediocre now. I haven’t really dealt with the people enough for an accurate unbiased representation but so far they dont seem nearly as friendly or talkative as the previous owners will still give them time for improvements because the previous owners had the place 30 years which casts a big shadow for the new owners to fill.

The food is excellent! I find myself comparing other Chinese Establishments all over to the Chinese Chef in Eastman, Ga. And honestly it is hard for others to live up to the taste and quality of their food. The only problem I have…and to me it is a huge one…is that it is not open the ONE day & especially night that my family and I have free- SATURDAY. Why?!

Awful food. Dirty establishment. Before we left, I started smelling something so bad, I thought I’d be sick. We had to go! THEN their credit card machine wouldn’t work and when we paid cash, the teller very smugly asked, “how much tip are you leaving”? I wouldn’t have left a cent! They should be thankful my friend is more forgiving than I am! We’ll NEVER go back and will tell our friends not to!
