Chinese Gardens has been serving the people of Cheney since 1970. Over the past five decades, there have been three owners. Chef Lin, a native of Tsingtao China became the third owner in 2001. Between 2013 and 2020, Chef Lin leased out the restaurant, many reviews on Google Maps were left during that period. In Nov 2021, Chef Lin was back. We took pride in serving delicious Chinese food to our neighbor and friends.

Worse chinese food I think I have ever had. All my family talked about all the way home was how horrible it was I was the only one who came close to finishing my plate, I guess I was hungry because it was not good. Save your self some money and don’t go there. Guy was nice but the spoons were dirty and pretty sure they microwaved my wife and daughters soup the bowls we hot and soup cold. Won’t be going there again

Server was extremely nice. The Egg Rolls and Fried Dumplings were super delicious, made just right. But the sweet and sour chicken didn’t have the right flavor profile. It was sweet with no tang to it, became almost too sweet the more I ate it, and the fried rice didn’t have any veggies or egg stir fried in.

Some of the best Chinese food I’ve ever had! After reading a bunch of mixed reviews on this place, I learned that most of the bad reviews were when the restaurant was leased to a different chef several years ago. The original chef has been back for a couple years, and his food is exceptional – fresh, flavorful, and delivered with great customer service. We will be back!

Our first time trying Chinese Gardens and man oh man!! Not disappointed AT ALL!! The restaurant is clean, smells great when you walk in! The owners are very friendly and courteous! Now the food, there was so much food! It was hot, it was magnificently delicious and it lasted for 3 full meals!! We will definitely be going back! Only one thing, right now it’s take put orders only!!

Don’t let the outside fool you! The outside could use some work. However, the inside is very clean and well maintained. This is one of, if not the best Chinese food places I’ve ever had. Swift service, great food, good atmosphere.. what’s not to love? I’ve lived in Cheney for 2 years and always drove by this place wanting to try it. Sadly they only serve dinner. Finally got the chance to try it today, and I will be back for sure!
