Good mall Chinese food. The yum yum chicken is great and so is the bourbon chicken. You can sample everything before you decide what you want so you’ll know what you’re getting is good.

The food is great. I’m happy we found this place. My picky kids LOVE the food. There is a lot of good food for the price; I expected to pay more.

I LOVE LOVE the owners of this place!! Always so so friendly & you get the best bang for your buck. My plate is always extra filled & it tastes better than a lot of Chinese restaurants I’ve had (they’re better than Panda Express). I’d def recommend eating here if you like Chinese food & are nearby!

Me and my girlfriend were browsing all the options in the food court and the last place we checked out was Chinese Gourmet Express. The gentleman behind the counter saw us eyeing the menu and offered us free samples of multiple items on the menu. Not only was the food we tried great, but after we mentioned we were sharing a plate, he went back and put more on our plate for free! We will definitely come back and eat here on our next mall visit.

The food is always over cooked and they give you very minimal portions not enough for what you pay for! Every time I try I’m disappointed the meat is dry and hard and the rice is soggy … for $10 for one meat and some rice. I think it’s ridiculous especially when they only fill up half the box. Go to max orient in j mall for great price great portions and good quality food!

They’re pretty nice, however, I’ve gotten food poisoning the last 2 times i have came here. The food tastes decent but it is not good on the stomach.

First time visiting here. Food was extremely salty, more than most Chinese food, and the bourbon chicken was very dry. I couldn’t finish my meal it tasted so bad. Wish id gone next door for pizza at chicago city there’s is good. I usually enjoy lomein noodles but these had a funny taste and strange orange color. Very disappointing

I thought the food was top notch for a food court. The prices was not bad and everything I had was great. The items I got were a bit spicy (Zho and spiced bourbon chicken) but that’s how I like it.

This is just what you do when visiting the mall in my opinion, get Chinese! Has to be bourbon chicken and fried rice. I consider this comfort food that is always exactly what I need!

I came in at 11am today for lunch. I asked for the #2 combo and orange chicken twice. When the girl started to make my plate she put bourbon chicken on my plate. I stopped her and said I asked twice for orange chicken. She then proceeded to spoon the bourbon chicken back into the buffet table. I expressed concern for cross contamination but she didn’t seem to care. I won’t eat here again.
